[Party Planning] — Donald Duck & Anchor Theme

I’m the crazy mom that plans my kids party months in advance. Well – in this case – I designed these Donald Ducks & Anchors before Munchkin#2 was born. So almost a year in advance? When I think of something – I have to do it right away.

Recently – I just printed these and now in the process of cutting it all out. Some may think – why don’t I just purchase everything? To be honest – I love the DIY-ing part of everything. I love the designing, cutting, and all the jazz of putting it all together. It’s fun to me. I put a lot of time in my kids birthday party. It’s rewarding when others appreciate what I do. On the other hand – I did search to see if there were any Donald Duck decorations out there – there is barely any. Stay tune to see how I put everything together when it’s closer to date! Do you love DIYs too?

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — DIY 2017 Planner

Here I am sharing my DIY 2017 planner! You may ask – why do I even bother with all the work when I can pay a few bucks for one? The answer to that is – I like things my style & my way. I like the finishing touches to it. I like to have things plan according to my way. I like the colors I use.

I purchased the Quo Vadis planner for a few years back. Love the pink leather cover! Most importantly – I like the small size of it. I like things handy and convenient. I like to carry my planner out either if I’m running errands or grocery shopping. I re-use the pink cover but repurchased the papers inside.

From what I remember – it was $15. Doesn’t make much sense to put paper over a planner right? Well the original calenders/day to day sheets are so boring and not my style. I purchased it – so I can DIY my own.

This is the order I have my life planned. I plan my meals, groceries, weekly to-do’s, outings, school, extra curricular, next week meals, reminders, and blog all in one section! I like to look at everything instead of flipping pages.

I have these DIY sheets done every few months – so I can adjust to my needs. If its summer – I can take out the school section if I want. Or I can add other stuff too. Also – it is color co-ordinated by month.

Is this call a lot of work? I consider not because I enjoy it. I enjoy being organized to the max! Having a planner to me is super duper important. My whole life is in it. Well – sort of! Haha.

What’s my secret for a stress-free life? Be super duper organized and plan ahead! Always think a few steps ahead! Sometimes I plan meals 2 weeks in advance too! How do you organize your life? Comment below to share!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[DIY] — My Cross-Stitching Projects

Just wanted to share these cross stitching DIY projects I did back in 2016. When I have some free time – I enjoy picking up this hobby. Hopefully I get to make a few this year too if time permits. I never have nothing to do at home because I always find something to do.

I made this one for myself that has my babies name on it. Love it!

For my girlfriend & her daughter. #LOVELOVELOVE.

For my son’s backpack. I made him a few already. Love how the colors turn out and it matches his backpack too.

There was no where to put his name on this scarf – so I cross stitched it on his scarf instead.

My babies have matching ones too.

I totally forgot to take a photo of the finish product for this one! Oppps – I wanted to try ‘ombre’ – it turned out beautifully! Hopefully I have some more time this year – Munchkin#2 has been so mobile lately – I just got to spend more time with him and entertain him. #MOMLIFE.

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Home] — Easter 2017 Home Decors

This is certainly my first time decorating for Easter in my home. I’ve purchased a few things at Dollarama to stick around my home. I’m not decorating a full home like Christmas – just a little decor. Dollarama certainly has some cute things this year – so make sure you check them out! Each store seems like they carry different decors. When I see something I like – I will add it into my home.

One reason why I love decorating is because my son loves it! He will come home and give me that surprise look. Than he will walk around the condo and see what else is there. It’s quite cute. Plus he learns about what each thing is. We’ll be doing some Easter activities soon too. That also reminds me that I should pack some Easter loot bags for his class as well. I cannot believe Easter is around the corner – time is flying by and soon it’ll be April! Have you decorated your home with Easter decors yet? Care to share? Comment below!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Kids] — Christmas Gingerbread House 2016

We decided to do our annual gingerbread house at home this year since I couldn’t find a class at Loblaws for it.

We bought a kit at No Frills for $10 bucks. The pre-built ones are more expensive but since we can never keep the house up – I decided it’s best to get the pre-built ones. Just easier for us.

We had fun decorating – Munchkin#1 helped with decorating the roof while we did the rest. Munchkin#2 helped by just watching and not crying lol.

Look at how concentrated he was! I have to say that this year he is more excited and enthusiastic in all these Christmas activities!

I think we’ll just buy the kit every year – so we can spend family quality time at home. Maybe next year Munchkin#2 can help too! What kind of festive activities did you do with your kids? [Lifestyle] — 25 Christmas Books • Starting December 1st

I was so thrilled to find 25 Christmas books at such affordable prices! The most expensive one was $3.50 and these are amazing quality books! Hard covers too! I’ve wrapped up all 25 books and starting from December 1st – my older son will be unwrapping one book a day until Christmas. I want this to be a tradition in our household. I’ll probably use these books for a few years – I don’t think he’ll remember it after a whole year right? I’ll be replacing a few books here and there but overall – it’ll mostly be the same ones.

g0200 g0201 g0202 g0203 g0204 g0205

Just for a little self reminder – I took pictures of the 25 books – so in case I shop for a few new ones – I won’t get duplicated. I can’t wait to do elf on the shelf next year as well. What are your family Christmas traditions? Comment below to share with us! Stay tune for more daily adventures & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time. Thanks for dropping by!

[LifeStyle] — Operation Christmas ShoeBoxes 2016 • DIY Projects

Christmas is around the corner and the first time I think about is these shoeboxes for the kids in 3rd world country. We live a pretty privilege life with clean water to drink, a roof over our heads, and food on the table every day. The kids in third word countries might not even have 1/3 of what we have! I did this project with a girlfriend, her kids, and my son last year – you can check out the post here. We had so much fun wrapping up the shoe boxes, shopping for toys, and putting it together. The most important thing is the meaning behind it – teaching our kids to give back. This year I’ll be doing this project with my 2 son’s and husband – a family thing.

g0123 g0124

I wrapped these shoeboxes early October and did the shopping later on. The date to donate these shoeboxes is the third week of November this year. I wanted to wrap them early and put them together early is because when November hits – it’s like crazy busy for us! It’s always nice to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary stress right? I always say this but its so true! It’s such a busy season – I want to relax and enjoy the moment! I wrapped up 10 shoeboxes this year – for each shoeboxes – we need to donate $7.00CAD on top for shipping and handling. If your interested – check this website out for more information.

I had a bag of 100 balls laying around and I didn’t want to open it for my son to play with. So I had this idea of wrapping up these balls as part of the gifts for the shoebox project. It was so much fun wrapping and they look so cute too. Don’t they look like candies?

g0179 g0180

g0210 g0211

These are a few of the stuff I included in the shoe boxes – mostly toys and some are sanitation products. We could not include any liquid items or toothpaste – so I had to be thoughtful to what to get.

It’s a family affair and I love getting my kids involved. Well for this year – one kid involved. We try to explain to him why we do this and how some kids don’t have toys or anything to play with in other countries. I don’t think he quite understood that but we’ll try again next year.

Our little helper that helped put everything inside each box – he listened to instruction quite well. Except when he saw cars… He wanted to be playing with it instead of helping. Haha. But he did do a great job this year! Last year he did help a little bit but I did most the packing.

Here’s a shoebox for a girl. Which includes some toys, jewelries, crayons, coloring book, tissue, and band-aid. Have you given back this year? If not – start searching on how you can give back! It’s the season in giving back – although I believe giving back can be any season! Stay tune for more daily reviews & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! [DIY] — Halloween Loot Bags Without Treats

Made these Halloween loot bags for my son’s class – a total of 29 of them. It was a challenge because no treats were allowed. There were only a few options I could choose from. I picked out rings, pencil, stickers, and an eyeball toy. It was so much fun putting it together myself. I didn’t ask my son for help because I know it’ll take three times as long to put them together. I just didn’t have the patient for it. I think for next year – maybe I’ll get his help?

I’m already thinking of what to put in next years’ loot bags – do you have any ideas to share? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more daily updates & reviews – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

[Celebration] — Halloween Party 2016

 g0190 g0191

These two photos were taken a few days before Halloween. Look at my two cute pumpkins – I love them so much!

This is the morning of Halloween where he wore his costume to school. It was his first Halloween at school and they had a dance in the morning. He never told me anything about it – I wondered how he enjoyed his first Halloween in school this year.

g0189 g0193

Another year – another Halloween party for the kiddos. I had this party organized three weeks in advance. Since my girlfriends’ just moved to their new places – my place was open for it to celebrate Halloween.

I decided to do a potluck kind of dinner instead of making everything. Just a lot easier for me & others. We had quite a lot of leftovers even with 6 kids, 3 babies, and 8 adults. Leftovers were perfect for next days’ lunch & dinner. Glad everyone took something home to eat!

g0195 g0196

Party started around 4:30PM – kids started there dinner around 5ish. We started getting ready to head out at 6:30pm – by the time we got out – it was 7pm. Well just imagine getting 9 kids ready! It was a chore!

We trick or treat around 8-10 houses. Not a lot of houses were giving out candies but we really go for the experience for the kids. We trick or treated about 45 minutes and headed back to my place.

Our first Halloween as Family of 4!

It was fun & exciting for the kids but hectic for the parents. Especially this year I have an 4 month old to take care of – I couldn’t spend too much time with my Munchkin#1. Overall the kids loved it! Till next year! Although a lot of work & cleaning up hosting a party but I wouldn’t want it any other way! I love hosting parties and seeing the kids have fun. How did you celebrate Halloween this year!? Comment below to share. Stay tune for more daily life updates & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

[Home] — Ikea Photo Frames Wall Collage • DIY Project

Been wanting to put up a collage of photos on this wall for quite sometime now. Never really had the time to think about it before till now. Before doing anything – I had to draw out what I want to put up and how I want it. Everything I do has a meaning to it and keep reading – you’ll understand why I did what I did. I’m quite proud of what I did and I love it! This wall is in front of my dining table.

I put up these four frames first – these four frames will have my kids birthday pictures from 1 year old to 6 year old. They each will have 6 photos. It wasn’t easy putting these frames up – so much planning – so much measuring too. I’m very OCD when things are off – but now it’s perfect!

Almost complete! Okay – so the bottom right where there is 4 little frames – those are first Christmases of both my kids and their baptism. You see the 2 empty ones – its because Cayden hasn’t experience his first Christmas & baptism yet. The left & right columns are for vacations that we go to. When the rooms are running out – we can add 2-3 more columns on each side (left and right).

Completion! Yes – finally done after hours.. I don’t even know how many hours. The top left has 2 large photo frames – a picture of us on our wedding day & our first family picture. I had to visit Ikea once more to complete this wall. It’s not really complete because we can always add extra frames on the left and right side. But overall – it’ll just be vacation pictures and birthday pictures we’ll be adding. My empty wall feels so different now with these frames on it! Feels more complete! I call this my “Wall of Love”. I LOVE IT! I’m so blessed to wake up to all these wonderful memories created every day! Life is such a blessing! Thanks for dropping by – stay tune for more updates – this blog is updated regularly!

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Home][Organization] — Developing & Organizing Photos & Photo Albums

g0159 g0160

Here’s another project I worked on when I took a month and a half break from my blog. I looked over thousands of photos and developed thousands of photos. I love keeping a hard copy of my photos. Who knows if Facebook will be gone one day right? I store all my photos on Facebook. I had to go back to looking at photos from 2009 to this year – bring back so many memories. Took me hours looking through photos, choosing what to develop, and putting it all together. But it’s ALL worth it because I love looking back at all the amazing memories created.

g0161 g0162

These are the photo albums categorize by year – from year 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and many empty ones waiting to be filled.

These albums are from our wedding (7 from the left) and the rest is for my kids. Believe it or not – but most of these albums are all filled up. I still need to get 8 more to fill up the rest of my shelf on the right. Are you as crazy as me? When I’m old and wrinkly – these are the photos I’ll be looking back at. It’s crazy to think that I developed over thousands of photos. That’s a lot of money well spent there. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time. [Organization][Home] — Kitchen Cabinets Organization • IKEA 365+ Containers

Before Picture

Since my first born started school – I have a little more time to do things in peace as in I can get things done in one go instead of stopping 20x in between to do one thing. I’ve been wanting to organize ALL my kitchen cabinets for awhile. I couldn’t organize them when we first moved in because I was having severe morning sickness than life got busy. So here it is – I’m only showing two cabinets because I totally forgot to take ‘before’ photos of the others.

After Picture

I had my entire kitchen redone before moving in and I love how the inside of the cabinets can be adjusted very easily. Before shopping for new containers – I had everything measured out. Containers jars can be so expensive – I found these containers at IKEA and it’s the 365+ series. I love the look of it but wished it can be a little wider.

Left Cabinet: Top) All pastas – I fitted about 6 large containers. Middle) All my soup ingredients. Bottom) Where I store all my different size bowls.

Right Cabinet: All my baking ingredients. They look so much neater when it’s all in one cabinet instead in 2-3 different areas.

Organizing makes me so happy for some reason – it’s so therapeutic and fun! Spent quite a bit on the containers but I know I’ll be using it for a long long time unless I accidently drop them and they crack. Which is not gonna happen! I love how they are clear – no need to label them. Do you enjoy organizing too? What is your organizing tips? Have an AMAZING day!!!

[Kids] — Halloween 2016 Costumes

g0181 g0182

What are your kids wearing this Halloween? I bought my kids costumes about two months before Halloween. Yes – this organizing Mama always plans early. I know if I buy it later – the choices is very limited. For my 3 month old – I purchased him the pumpkin onesie and his superman costume online. While I bought my 4.5 year old son his policeman costume at Winners HomeSense at $24.99 – quite reasonable price. Usually costumes can go up to $60-$70. I’m not willing to spend a fortune for a one time wear. It’s just not worth it in my opinion. So what are all your kids dressing up as this year? Comment below to share. Stay tune for more updates for our Halloween event this year – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for dropping by!

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — What Have I been Up To Lately? • October 2016

What has been up with me lately? I did take a month off from blogging which I am super behind. But that’s okay I needed my break from my blog anyways. Even though I took a month off from updating my blog – I still kept myself busy with different projects around the house (I’ll update the different projects I worked on in different blog posts).

Since it’s almost the end of October already – I’ve been thinking about what to stock up for the winter season: meat, canned goods, pastas, and etc… I heard it’s going to be a very very very cold winter and I don’t want to drag two kids out for grocery runs every week. Especially carrying the heavy stuff too. That’s what I’ve been doing – buying the things we can buy now for the winter to avoid lots of trips out.

As always – I did Christmas shopping early this year and is 80% done. I’m not a fan of crowded malls and long line ups! Totally not my thing. If I could shop it now – why not right? Plus I don’t want to come home after my vacation to deal with Christmas shopping and wrapping. I just want to get it over with and done with before November hits.

These two months we’ve been doing some home improvement – as in – upgrading some of our furniture. I’ll do another separate post on it. We’ve wanted to upgrade some of our furniture for awhile now – it all comes down to the kids. Some we could upgrade and some we couldn’t do it till the kids are older – so they won’t ruin it.

I did take some ‘Me Time’ away from the kids for a refreshment. Even one hour a day is amazing and we all need it. I love my kids to death but sometimes I just need to be away from them to refresh myself and get myself back together. Fell off the band wagon of my diet after a week. In a week I did lose about 6 pounds – which is not too bad right? I have to get back into this wagon to lose the rest of the weight – 24 pounds to go!

We’ll be going to our winter vacation mid-November. A much needed vacation for hubby and I. We need to see palm trees, sunshine, beach, sand, and paradise – now that’s a vacation! I can’t wait to lounge on beach chairs and watch our kids play in water. Munchkin#2 will be over 4.5 months and we had the okay from his doctor to go. There’s gonna be quite a lot to pack but we can’t wait to experience it with both our boys.

I haven’t talked much about my stepmoms ALS journey. I guess I’ve came to accept it and not talk about it. It’s a very very sad disease without a cure and I pray that there will be a cure very soon to help everyone with this disease. Her situation looks stable right now but she is paralyzed. What can a paralyze person do? Why couldn’t she be stabilize when she could still walk and move her hands? Anyways – I help them buy groceries every week or two weeks. I try my best to visit once a week or if my schedule don’t work – every other week. I don’t know what else to update about her situation – my heart is numb about it. So that’s it.

As for my in-laws – our relationship has gotten better and hope it stays that way. I’m not hard to get along with – I just don’t like being annoyed. We see them about once a week if time permits.

I realize that I don’t socialize with a lot of people these days – the only people I socialize is mommies with kids. I know right – my priorities are so different than 5 years ago. But I do like it this way. When time is so limited – I can’t deal with everyone. My priorities has shifted and my priorities is my kids and husband.

As for blogging goes – I miss blogging. I won’t force myself into blogging if I don’t want to. Its all about if I feel like it or not. I love documenting my life and have a journal to read back. Especially for my kids. My family is my everything!

That’s it for this Life Update – life will only get busier from here when November hits. As long as I’m organize with my time – I won’t be stressing out. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly. Thanks for dropping by & see you soon!

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[Food] — Home Cooking Diary • September 2016

g0101 g0102

Here’s my home cooking diary of September 2016. Nothing really new last month except I did get a bag of frozen Haddock filet for the first time. I use seafood sauce to marinate it and baked it. Hubby loves it! That picture is at the very bottom of this post.

Will seriously need to check out some new recipes soon! Life has been so busy lately even with my  first born being in school – I’m just keeping myself busy around the house. Planning things way in advance to avoid stress. I know when November hits – the days will fly by like there’s no tomorrow. So many different events going on – birthdays, Christmases, play dates, wedding, and etc… I should make some goals to try 1 new recipe a week. We’ll see!

Have an YUMMILIOUS day!!!
