[Summer Fun] — Exploring Downtown Toronto

What an experience! I don’t think I ever explore Downtown, Toronto even though I live in this city. We drop by here and there but never walked around to view the buildings. It was nice bringing my 2 aunts for some sightseeing. Too bad we didn’t have enough time that day – otherwise we drop by Ripley’s Aquarium too.

We walked around for over four hours and settled at Earls for a sit down dinner.

Glad they both get to enjoy the downtown life. See buildings and kind of soak in the culture a little bit. The weather was beautiful that day too!

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[Kids] — Easter Play Date & Egg Decorating

We had a little Easter play date over the weekend with a few kids and decorated Easter eggs for the first time. It was my first time decorating too and same with most of the kids. It was a lot of fun!

I purchased all these at Walmart – very inexpensive. The fake eggs – looks so much like real eggs. At first I was debating if I should just boil real eggs but it would be such a waste. I know real eggs aren’t expensive but I’m not a fan of wasting food like that. So fake eggs is the way to go! We had a total of 24 eggs for 4 kids. That’s a lot but the Mamas had fun too!

My munchkin wasn’t a huge fan of painting eggs – he’s an OCD freak like his mommy. Lol – he did not like the paint in his hand and all over the place. He was over it after painting one egg. However – the girls had a lot of fun painting. Shall I say it’s a girl thing? I had fun painting a few eggs too!

So colorful and creative! Everyone got to bring a basket of eggs home.

The kids had lunch after painting and some play time too. Love how well they behaved.

Overall a fun experience – I cannot wait to do this again next year. It was a good amount of kids. Too many kids will be more hectic for sure. The girls are much more mature than the boys. They know what they were doing. Cheers to a fun Easter play date!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Cayden] — 8 Month Old Update ::

Here’s an update of my 8 month old Munchkin! I miss the days when he was tiny and just a 4-pounder! I’ll never get sick of saying that! He has tripled his weight. A little over 12 pound and very active boy! I’ve finally got time to clean out his 3 month old clothes. It all went to donation. He is onto 6-9 month clothes.

I think this will be the last month I’ll be using the baby bath angel because my child is too active. He loves kicking the water and sometimes slides out. He’ll be able to use the baby tub and play in there freely. He loves water!

He’s eating well. Eats 4 times a day and about 1.5 serving each + fruits after certain meals. I tend to feed him more during the before bed feeding – so he sleeps longer without waking up in the middle of the night. Talking about sleep. He’s been a great sleeper! Mommy is so blessed that both my boys sleep so well! He sleeps around 10-11 hours per night. Once in awhile he’ll wake up and cry in the night. But falls back to sleep.

Loves to give you the serious face but yet smiles a lot! He’s not a crier but he definitely cries more than his big brother. He loves sitting and standing. He’s been enjoying a lot more of his toys. Loves to touch and push buttons. Loves mommy spending time with him and playing with him.

Oh – one big milestone this month is he knows how to crawl! YUP – we are officially in trouble because I gotta be extra careful with tiny little things. He loves putting everything in his mouth. He is attracted to wires and controllers. He does get more freedom to crawl everywhere he wants. But the other thing is – he does get into his big brothers toys – which his big brother doesn’t like. They’ll need to learn how to work this out. Hahahah.

His third tooth is spouting out and it’s getting more dangerous. He doesn’t bite me all the time but once in awhile. It sure does hurt!

Still very clingy to mommy. When I am home – he prefers me. But when I’m out – he prefers his daddy than anyone else. It feels cute because we feel that kind of importance when he wants us.

That’s really it for this month. He’s keeping me busy for sure! We cannot wait till the weather gets warmer so we can go out for walks and breathe more fresh air! Please slow down on growing up – I just want to hold you a little longer baby boy!

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[Cayden] — 8 Month Update • Sprouting 2 Bottom Teeth

My second child sure has some character! A whole lot of character comparing to his big brother! He will scream and get angry at things – I know right? Get angry and throw a fit at 8 month old? I sure don’t remember his big brother doing that at this young! I’m going to read up upon how to control baby behavior and fix this issue. It’s better to start it early than later – otherwise it’ll be even harder to fix.

My little Munchkin has officially sleep trained in his own crib. He hasn’t slept in the play pan for over a month now! I have to say he’s only 90% sleep train. I am still working on skipping out on the night time 12:30AM feed. Other than that he’ll cry in the middle of the night once in awhile. Sometimes I ignore it and he goes back to sleep till 7 in the morning. I’m glad we started this sleep training process early because Mama gets her beauty sleep back!

Big brother loves baby brother. Baby brother loves watching his big brother do things. I love their interaction and am in love watching them both grow up together. It warms my heart so much that they’ll have each other growing up together when we are old and wrinkly in the future.

He loves standing up and jumping – quite active! He shifts around on the floor and goes everywhere. When I leave him their for a few minutes – he’s gone! I’m not going to put gates up for him – so I got to keep my eyes on him at all times. This kid is fast!

Mama has finally got his routine down. He’s down with 2 naps, 4 meals, and the rest of the time is play time, bath time, and etc… Having a routine is such a must – it just makes my life easier and I can plan ahead. I still nurse him before naps and before bedtime. He has cut down to half his nursing.

He graduated from his play mat and blue bouncer. I’ve sold them – makes me kind of sad when it’s gone because that means he’s grown up and soon not a baby anymore. The blue bouncer was from his baby brother over 4 years ago. A little sentimental to me for sure.

Loves playing toys and listening to music. Whenever I sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” – he settles down.

Look at that cheekiness!

I’ve been preparing his solids 2-3 times a week. I try to mix up a bit of the ingredients so he doesn’t have the same things all the time. I don’t think it makes a difference for him but I want him to try new things. So far – he’s been alright eating solids 4 times a day.

So far he’s tried most vegetables and meat except for beef and tomato – I’m going to wait a little bit more for those food. I enjoy preparing and cooking these meals for Munchkin#2 – totally reminds me how I made solids for Munchkin#1. It’s not that feeding store bought food is not healthy – I just like making my own, so I know what’s in it.

That’s all for the month of January 2017 – stay tune to see what’s in store for this little guy next month! There sure is a lot of changes in each month as he grows.

Have a THANKFUL day!!!

[Travels] — Gran Bahia Principe Coba • Mexico, Cancun • Day 6

Excursion day!

We woke up super early on this day because our excursion bus picks us up at 7:40AM. We woke up around 6:30AM to get ready and have breakfast.

Our first stop was of course the famous ChiChen Itza. Before booking this trip – Hubby was like we MUST visit this place. So we had to! This was our first 7th of wonders we visited!

Walking in this famous Pyramid – there were lots of shops to buy souvenirs and gifts. The prices are very reasonable comparing to other shops. I recommend you to buy your souvenirs here instead of anywhere else. You can bargain as well! We didn’t get anything but we got my Father-in-law a handmade ChiChen Itza for $5USD.

It was a very very hot day. Especially being under the sun and carrying a almost 12pound Munchkin. I hope I lost some weight and gain some muscles that day! Lol. We stayed at ChiChen Itza for about 2.5 hours. Learned a bit of history and explore different pyramids.

After exploring ChiChen Itza – we had a buffet lunch at a restaurant.

Where the restaurant was located was also where we were going to explore one of the Cenotes. Very cool. We could of swam in it but we decided not to. Not up for getting wet and than changing after with 2 kids. We just walked down to have a look and took some pictures.

Than we headed to a little village nearby which I forgot the name of it. It had a really nice and big park. We wanted to do some shopping there but couldn’t find anything to get. When I get something – I’m very specific and it has to match my home too. OCD much?

After walking around for half an hour – we headed back to the bus. It took about 1.5 hour to get back to the resort.

I have to say that our kids were AMAZING with minimal fuss! Some people didn’t even notice there was a baby on the bus! Cayden was that good! It was a long day for both my kids & they did awesome. Makes parenthood that much easier when they behave.

We paid $75USD each person for this excursion – both kids were free. I definitely recommend this excursion – ChiChen Itza is definitely a must see!

We got back to the resort around 7:30PM – the first thing we did was hit the buffet! We were all very hungry. After that – we went to the privilege lounge to upload photos.

Than we headed back to our room to bath and we all  slept right away. We were all so exhausted! It was so so so much fun exploring! I didn’t get to take videos but I did capture a lot of photos! Stay tune for our day 7 of our trip! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a LOVELY day!!!

[Celebration] — Our 2016 Christmas Morning

Still catching up with Christmas events! I finally got things settle and am back to my regular schedule! Woohoo! Anyways – this was a very special Christmas for all of us. It was our second son’s first Christmas & It was the first Christmas that we introduce Santa to our first son. He was believing in everything – he even saw a little clip with Santa on a sleigh and reindeer flying in the sky. It was SO magical for him! It was so amazing to watch! I love it! I never got to know or experience Santa’s magical fairytale and I am so glad my boys get to experience it!

Christmas morning is just for our family only – it’s a day where we spent it opening presents in the morning in our matching pajamas. It’ll be one of our traditions that started last year. My heart is so warm and happy watching my boys grow and be happy.

This Munchkins’ 1st Christmas – look at that cheerful boy! We had an eventful morning – Santa brought everyone presents! Munchkin#1 helped with opening baby brothers’ presents too. I don’t need anything else because I have my family – they are my everything! Can’t wait for 2017 Christmas in about 10 months! Are you excited for Christmas in 10 months? Lol – I must be a little crazy!

Have a BLISSFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — What Have I been Up To Lately? • October 2016

What has been up with me lately? I did take a month off from blogging which I am super behind. But that’s okay I needed my break from my blog anyways. Even though I took a month off from updating my blog – I still kept myself busy with different projects around the house (I’ll update the different projects I worked on in different blog posts).

Since it’s almost the end of October already – I’ve been thinking about what to stock up for the winter season: meat, canned goods, pastas, and etc… I heard it’s going to be a very very very cold winter and I don’t want to drag two kids out for grocery runs every week. Especially carrying the heavy stuff too. That’s what I’ve been doing – buying the things we can buy now for the winter to avoid lots of trips out.

As always – I did Christmas shopping early this year and is 80% done. I’m not a fan of crowded malls and long line ups! Totally not my thing. If I could shop it now – why not right? Plus I don’t want to come home after my vacation to deal with Christmas shopping and wrapping. I just want to get it over with and done with before November hits.

These two months we’ve been doing some home improvement – as in – upgrading some of our furniture. I’ll do another separate post on it. We’ve wanted to upgrade some of our furniture for awhile now – it all comes down to the kids. Some we could upgrade and some we couldn’t do it till the kids are older – so they won’t ruin it.

I did take some ‘Me Time’ away from the kids for a refreshment. Even one hour a day is amazing and we all need it. I love my kids to death but sometimes I just need to be away from them to refresh myself and get myself back together. Fell off the band wagon of my diet after a week. In a week I did lose about 6 pounds – which is not too bad right? I have to get back into this wagon to lose the rest of the weight – 24 pounds to go!

We’ll be going to our winter vacation mid-November. A much needed vacation for hubby and I. We need to see palm trees, sunshine, beach, sand, and paradise – now that’s a vacation! I can’t wait to lounge on beach chairs and watch our kids play in water. Munchkin#2 will be over 4.5 months and we had the okay from his doctor to go. There’s gonna be quite a lot to pack but we can’t wait to experience it with both our boys.

I haven’t talked much about my stepmoms ALS journey. I guess I’ve came to accept it and not talk about it. It’s a very very sad disease without a cure and I pray that there will be a cure very soon to help everyone with this disease. Her situation looks stable right now but she is paralyzed. What can a paralyze person do? Why couldn’t she be stabilize when she could still walk and move her hands? Anyways – I help them buy groceries every week or two weeks. I try my best to visit once a week or if my schedule don’t work – every other week. I don’t know what else to update about her situation – my heart is numb about it. So that’s it.

As for my in-laws – our relationship has gotten better and hope it stays that way. I’m not hard to get along with – I just don’t like being annoyed. We see them about once a week if time permits.

I realize that I don’t socialize with a lot of people these days – the only people I socialize is mommies with kids. I know right – my priorities are so different than 5 years ago. But I do like it this way. When time is so limited – I can’t deal with everyone. My priorities has shifted and my priorities is my kids and husband.

As for blogging goes – I miss blogging. I won’t force myself into blogging if I don’t want to. Its all about if I feel like it or not. I love documenting my life and have a journal to read back. Especially for my kids. My family is my everything!

That’s it for this Life Update – life will only get busier from here when November hits. As long as I’m organize with my time – I won’t be stressing out. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly. Thanks for dropping by & see you soon!

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[Lifestyle] — 1 Month Postpartum

My weekly baby pump photos

It’s a month already? That also means my baby is a month old already! As much as I want him to grow fast and healthy – I want him to slow down a little bit. I want to hold my tiny baby as much as I can because I know I won’t be able to hold another one of my own.

It’s been a month! Let’s talk about my c-section scar. I still haven’t really taken a closer look at it because I am scared of it! I know its healing well because I haven’t felt any pain or itchiness. I do have my Hubby to look at it and he tells me how it looks and stuff.

I started taking my bubble bath after two and a half week after postpartum – which seems alright. I remember last time I had to wait six weeks because of natural birth. This time since it was c-section – nurse said it was okay to take baths.

Wanted to have my hair cut done before my delivery but didn’t have time – so this is after delivery

My bleeding stopped after the 11-12 day – which was weird because it’s supposed to last 6 weeks. Although the bleeding stopped – there’s still this yellowish-white discharge coming out every day. Once in awhile there’s blood.

Since I am Asian – you would have thought I’d follow the Chinese tradition. One month confinement and etc etc… I didn’t follow any last time except eating ginger vinegar. This time I try to not eat this or that due to my scar. I tried for two weeks which was a big fail. I did end up going out and taking the baby out after a few days.

My first bowl of ginger vinegar after 3 weeks postpartum

Basically everything went back to normal after I came home. I cooked, baked, cleaned, and etc. Since I didn’t feel pain at all – everything was all good. I didn’t feel tired at all too. I wonder why? I kept myself busy with just the regular to do(s).

I did drink lots of liquids! I made sure I had enough milk supply in me this time because I do want to start freezing milk. The more milk I freeze = the faster I can stop breastfeeding. I want my Munchkin to breastfed till 10 months old and the rest bottle fed with breast milk. By 10 months – I would want him to sleep in his own without needing to wake up in the middle of night for feeding (just like his brother).

As for my weight gain.. I am not sure how much I weight now (I need to buy a new scale). I do want to start hitting up the gym next month when Munchkin#2 is at school. I’m not too worried about my weight right now. My focuses are providing enough breast milk and keep myself healthy.

Took millions of pictures of myself & family already…

I have to say my c-section recovery was quite fast. I felt like I never undergo a surgery at all! I thought I’d be handicap for two weeks till two months of time. I was so ready to be bedridden for awhile because of the pain. But thank goodness for no pain!

I think that’s all the update for my first month of postpartum. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for dropping by!

Have an AWESOME day!!!

[Cayden] — Relatives Meet & Greet

We decided to do Saturday lunch at our place on July 9th 2016 since everyone was dying to meet our 2nd bundle of joy.

Instead of buying take out – I decided to cook/bake everything instead. It took me about 1.5 hours to have everything ready which is quite fast. I enjoy the process of making the food and displaying the food. It’s just very therapeutic to me. And fun too!

Thank goodness Munchkin#2 behaved quite well too while I was in the kitchen keeping busy. Munchkin#1 was out with daddy at soccer practice – so I had some peace. Look at how spoil this Munchkin is already being held by his relatives. It’s such a joy having relatives watch our kids grow. He even got a few red pockets too. Spoil much?

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Pregnancy Journal] — Big Brother Meets Baby Brother

f232 f234

Munchkin #1 very curious

At first when I was pregnant with Munchkin#2 in my belly – we were worried that Munchkin#1 would not love the idea of sharing his parents. He did have all of our live and care for the past four years all on his own.

After meeting his baby brother for the first time – we are so proud of him. It makes it feel like he grew up so much more – not that baby anymore. Although he’ll always be my baby in my heart. He was so loving, caring, and gentle with his baby brother! It was so satisfying to watch!

We thought his reaction would be “why are you holding that baby – put him down and hold me!” He did that when I held a friends’ baby – he was jealous. He didn’t request us to put his baby brother down at all! We were amazed! He even wanted to grab him and hold him on his own on the first meet! How crazy is that right?

copying baby brother

I’m so glad I got to capture all these moments. My heart felt so content – both my boys are happy and loving it! This was a total different scenario Hubby and I had imagined. We imagined jealousy and carefree from Munchkin#1. He totally surprised us. Before meeting his baby brother – we gave him a gift from his baby brother. Not sure if he gets the idea of it but he loved his gifts.

f235 f236 f237

Right now I’m just trying to balance my love and time for the both of them. Never wanting to neglect anyone of them – Mommy loves you both very very much! What are your experiences in welcoming the second child into the family? How did your little one react to their new siblings? Comment below to share your story! Stay tune for my next pregnancy journey diary the next day! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Pregnancy Journal] — Delivering at 36 Weeks & 4 Days

I’ll be doing separate blog posts on this journey of delivery – so I can jot everything possible I need to remember down. I know one day I’ll be rereading all these amazing memories and maybe my kids will too.

You might be wondering – what’s up with the tile? Delivering at 36 weeks & 4 days? Yes – I did!

If you follow my blog long enough from where I do daily pregnancy journals – you would know that in the beginning of my pregnancy I had this placenta complication. Meaning only one side of my placenta was working and usually you need two sides to provide nutrition and food for the baby. So my right side was working and that made this pregnancy a middle risk for me. With close monitoring from my Obgyn and specialist at Mount Sanai – everything was looking great bi-weekly.

Till the week of June 28th 2016 – where I went for my specialist appointment at Mount Sanai. He saw some injury in my placenta – the right one and advised me that it’s best to deliver baby as soon as possible. That gave me a huge shocked because from the past few months – everything was going amazing except the baby was growing a little slow. I was only 36 weeks and baby was measuring a little over 4 pounds. I was scared and yet shocked!

He assures me that this is the safest and best solution there is. If we waited a week more – he wouldn’t know what the outcome is. Baby heart beat can stop beating and that’s very scary! I took his advice and believed in my specialist. As long as baby came out healthy – that’s really all that matters.

On the day of the appointment – I was kind of a mess and with a few tears in my eyes but I knew I got to do this. The nurse gave me 2 doses of steroid shots to prepare me for delivery. There’s a name for the shot which I forgot what it is. Basically this shot is to help mature the baby’s lungs. I had to take the next two doses at the hospital the next day.

Without wasting any time – I called my Obgyn right away to arrange a Non-stress test, blood work, steroid shot, C-section, and an appointment with her the next day. Everything was handled in a couple hours of time! Which I was blessed because it was so last minute and sometimes – it’s hard to arrange.

After leaving Mount Sanai that day after my crazy appointment. My head was floating! I had two weeks of things planned before delivery. Which I was expecting it to be 38 weeks. I had to cram everything in just less than 2 days! How an earth am I going to do that? Somehow I did! It’ll be in another post “The day before delivery”.

That’s really it for this section of my pregnancy story. What a crazy ride eh? But I still feel very grateful and blessed for the experiences I had! The word c-Section doesn’t sound so pleasant but it’s a whole new experience. I’ll explain more about it in another blog post. Have you experienced what I had? Comment below to share your story! Stay tune for more pregnancy stories – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Cayden] — 1 Month Update • Nothing But Love

I literally took pictures of this Munchkin with each day and sometimes I forget and jump out of bed in the middle of the night for photos! What a crazy mother I am eh? I did that during my stay in the hospital as well.

Week #1

Week #2

Week #3

Week #4

f196 f197 f198

Cayden Joseph’s first update! One month flew by so fast – I miss holding my 4lb 3oz baby already! He came 25 days earlier than expected (I wrote a post on why he came so early – stay tune for that in a few days!) There were so many different emotions before we welcome him into this world. Would he be too light? Would he be okay? Would he be able to breathe without tubes? Would he be on IVs?

f199 f200

Thank god that he came out fine without any problems. He was only light weighted but as long as he drinks enough milk – he was gaining.

He did lose weight the 24 hours he came out which was normal but he quickly gained it back the next few days. He was in the NICU box since Thursday to Sunday – a total of 4 days. Then he was pushed to a parent room where I stayed in for 2-3 days after my discharge.

I was actually very happy that Cayden could go home after 6 days! The nurses estimated a week+ but I kept asking because I wanted to be home. What’s better than the comfort of being home right? Of course we had to know everything was good first and the doctors input as well.

f201 f202 f203

After being home – he was adjusted quickly and loved to sleep! He’s barely awake – I would say he’s awake a little less than 2 hours a day. So the rest of the time he sleeps.

His first doctor appointment went great – since he was born at 4lb 3oz – the doctor wanted to see him every week. After our last appointment on July 19th – the doctor was very impressed with his weight gain that he doesn’t need to go to the doctors every week. Its every two weeks now.

f204 f205

He is now weighting 5lb 6oz since the last visit on July 19th. Hubby and I assume he’s weighting over almost 7lb now. He’s on iron supplements & D-drops.

The first bath at home was quite SCARY! We haven’t done a baby bath for over four years and we just was just scared! After the first time we got the hang of it. He gets a bath every other day. For the first 3-4 times he cried but after that he loves it! I mean what is there to cry about!? It feels like someone is giving him a massage and it’s so relaxing!

f206 f207 f208

I’ve cut his nails twice already! His nails are sharp and he likes to scratch his mommy with it. I’m thinking of having it trimmed every two weeks since it grows so fast.

f209 f210

As for diapers – I’ve been using size 1 instead of newborn since it’s just a tad bigger. I find that newborn diapers are a little more expensive than size 1. But they are darn cute!

What else did I forget? We are co-sleeping now since it’s just easier that way for night time feedings. He’s usually up every 2ish-3 hours. Right when he’s done with feeding – he falls right back asleep with no fuss! Thank god for that because mommy needs her sleep! He’s such a great sleeper just like his big brother. I’m so blessed for that!

He had his first bath at 1 day old

First doctor appointment on July 7th 2016

f211 f212 f213

Oh yeah – I’ve just started planning his first party which is his 1 Month celebration with friends and families. Decided to celebrate it in mid-August instead of early August. Just the timing works better for us and by then he’s a little bigger too.

I think that’s all the updates for the first month! I feel like he’s grown so much already. I’m cherishing these times when he’s so tiny because he’s my last baby! Stay tune for more life updates & food adventures – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for dropping by!

Have an AMAZING day!!!

[Baby] — Pregnancy Reveal Idea

This was a much anticipated even for us – I mean keeping a secret for three months is not easy! We announced our second pregnancy on January 24th 2016, Saturday at our house warming party. That’s the best time to announce it without being suspicious!

I didn’t really go on the net and search for ideas. I was thinking the best way to surprise everyone. So I thought that I’ll print out about 20 copies of the ultrasound. Put it in individual envelopes and write a question mark on the envelope. Lol during the day – I just told people we are having a lucky draw instead of a surprise because it’ll be too obvious. Although my belly wasn’t showing yet – I looked extremely tired.

By the time everyone showed up – I just said that we are having a lucky draw – there might be cash prizes LOL. Said that just for fun – took a group photo before everyone opened the envelope.

SURPRISE! Yes – most people were shocked! Not much people were expecting us to have baby #2 soon because when they ask us – we usually say not too soon. That’s my little fun idea of sharing our blessing. How did you share and surprise your families and friends? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more daily adventures and hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for hopping by!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Cayden] — Preparation For Arrival

I’ve been preparing since April. How crazy can that be right? Let me list the things I’m preparing for in order.

(1) Cleaning up the nursery, having it set up and decorated. Yes that’s the first thing I did and loved doing.

(2) Buying diapers, automatic breast pumps, co-sleeper bassinette, baby bottles, and etc. Just shopping for things I need this pregnancy.

e407 e408

(3) Organizing every corner of my home. Closets x3, vanity table, and everything that needed organization. I need everything SUPER organize because I won’t have time for that when the baby is here. I’ll focus 100% of my time on my two boys.

(4) Freezer meals. Yes – I’ve been working on doubling or tripling some of my recipes when I cook. So I have enough to freeze in my freezer. I’m looking to freeze about 20 meals before I deliver. In case I can’t cook after my pregnancy – these freezer meals will be really handy for my family instead of buying take out all the time. Just planning ahead.

(5) Preparation with my son entering kindergarten. Just buying things he needs this September. Researching lunch ideas in advance. Looking to buy everything he needs before I pop.

(6) Blogging. Yes blogging. I’ve been doing a lot of scheduled posts to keep up the days I cannot blog. I love planning ahead and blogging is one of them!

(7) Calender. Just planning things in advance to keep my son busy. Another thing to keep organize for our lives. When I give birth to baby#2 – I don’t want to put anything on hold either. Hes still going to have swimming lessons and soccer. Maybe summer camp as well. I want him to still enjoy his childhood even with a younger brother coming along.

Did I miss anything? I don’t think so. I’ve started preparation since April and I think some people might think I’m crazy but I’m an organize freak – I got to have things organize to function my life. Am I crazy or what? How do you all prepare? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more daily life updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — My 5th Mother’s Day • May.08.2016

I’ve celebrated Mother’s day the fifth time. I sound kind of crazy for keeping track but every celebration is special to me. This will be my last “alone” or “only child” celebrating with my son because next year he’ll have to share with his little brother for the rest of their lives.

Since we had two mother’s day dinner with the Luk relatives and my in-laws this year – I opted for a mother’s day brunch with my two loves. Simple brunch at Milestones like this is what I love.

I feel blessed in every way when I see my family happy and healthy. There’s no greater feeling to know I have them and get to have them for the rest of my life.

Munchkin is 4 years old this year and it’s super hard to sneak a kiss from him these days without needing to beg for it. I was lucky in Mother’s day because I asked and he delivered a kiss without any begging. What a lucky mom I am right? Can’t believe he’s 4 and don’t give cuddles and kisses anymore. I miss it so much!

Motherhood has been a blessing and at times frustrating but I love every moment of it. I signed up for it and I love what I do. It isn’t a piece of cake but it’s worth it. Can’t wait to welcome our second bundle of joy to this world in about two months!
