[Summer Fun] — Canada’s Wonderland

When was the last time I ever step foot in Canada’s Wonderland? I think over 13 years ago! Crazy much? It was nice to be back! We visited Canada’s Wonderland late July with our two kiddos. Munchkin#1 was overly excited even before we got in. Munchkin#2 behaved so well even after an 8 hour day out. I serious could not complain!

We stayed at the kids’ area and with eight hour we had. It was just not enough time for all the rides plus the park was so busy and so much to do too! Definitely worth getting the season pass!

We had to literally bribe & drag Munchkin#1 out of Wonderland! He loved it and is constantly asking to go back. He sure doesn’t know how fortunate he is to be enjoying all these summer activities. Sometimes I feel like our kids have life so good. For sure Wonderland will be a place to be back. Till next time!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — Sixth Year Wedding Anniversary

Sixth year wedding anniversary with the love of my life was somewhat relaxing but with a day of kids activities. Before our anniversary lunch – we headed to Munchkin#2s first swimming lesson. He loved the water and was very comfortable in it.

After the swimming lesson – we headed to Good Catch for lunch. I ordered a cocktail to share with the Hubby. Ordered my first Spicy Salmon Poké and my thoughts? Nothing really that special. Not sure what the hype is about with everyone? Hubby loved his lobster sub.

After lunch we headed to Munchkin#2s’ baptism class.

Quite an eventful day for sure but we got to spend the rest of our day at home. Six years – 2 kids & a home. What more can we ask for? I am forever blessed with my family. I am content where life is & all we need is more time to spend with each other. Can money buy time?

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Summer Fun] — Safari Niagara

It was our first visit to Niagara Safari and it was amazing. It took about 1.5 hour drive with 1 pit stop. It was an extremely hot day but thank goodness both kids behaved & cooperated.

There were so many animals to see. We walked about half way than decided to hop on the wagon ride to see the rest of the Safari. This place is huge!

Munchkin#1 learned so much about animals and his fave was the giraffes. It’s cute how little things interest him. Other than the giraffes – his favorite part was the park. He wasn’t too interested with the water park. Which it was a good thing for us – no need to change him. The park itself is huge. There’s a lot to do! From what I remember – we spent around 5 hours there. We sure did soak in those vitamin C & D that day! For sure we’ll be visiting again one day!

Have a GORGEOUS day!!!

[DIY] — Planner Sheets of June 2017 to December 2017

Finally finished off with designing the rest of my planner of 2017. If you follow my blog long enough – you would know why I customize my own planner. I just like things my way. I’ve added a few new sections for the rest of 2017.  hydration (tracking down the amount of liquid I drink, workout (track my workout), and youtube. I have been doing videos again and uploading it privately for a month now. I just want to have snippet of our lives captured for memories. That’s really it for the edit version. It’s getting a lot busier – so keeping organize will keep the stress away.

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — Easter Sunday Dinner With InLaws

This dinner concludes our last event of Easter 2017! What an eventful and fun Easter we had this year! We ended our Easter with a lovely dinner at Monte Carlos hotel with the inlaws. It was a yummy four course dinner.

Munchkin#1 was busy with his dinner while Munchkin#2 kept busy with watching cartoons and somehow let his parents enjoy their dinner. What a bonus right?

The kids got really spoiled with surprise eggs as gifts from their grandparents. When I got home – I had to quickly hide them! Surprisingly till this date – Munchkin#1 does not remember receiving it! I’m just not a fan of my kids having too much sweet. The egg on the right – that size will last Munchkin#1 up to a whole year. Happy Easter to you all!

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Haul] — Walmart – Second Haul of Baby Food

You have to love the convenience of Walmart’s free shipping! I basically don’t have to step out of my home and have everything delivered to me. Makes me lazy but I love it! I decided to make another order of a bunch of baby food for Munchkin#2. Instead of lugging it home – why not have it delivered? It was interesting how they wrapped up each bottle of baby food this time – a lot more work to open but very safe. Mainly – this haul is baby food jars, baby pouches, and baby cereal.

Purchased a lot of baby pouches this time for Munchkin#2 to try – I never bought these for Munchkin#1 when he was a baby. And boy did I missed out! These are so convenient to take out! I also got a cleanser for myself to try and two bottles of toothpaste for Munchkin#1. To save you time – do have Walmart deliver your stuff for you! But might I add – they don’t deliver everything!

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[LifeStyle] — What’s In My Diaper Bag?

What’s in my diaper bag? Just to let you know – I’ve never had a diaper bag. What I use is my Louis Vuitton Neverfull as my diaper bag. I love this bag! It can carry everything! I bring this with me on every vacation too! I’m surprise it’s holding up quite good because I put pounds of stuff in this bag when I go grocery shopping – this bag has been with me for over 7-8 years now.

I ordered this red compartment online to match with the interior of the bag and this compartment fits perfectly! Without this compartment – everything will be in a mess! I love how I can see everything without digging through the mess!

I don’t go out with too much stuff really:

  • Cayden: 2 diapers, diaper mat, wipes, extra change of clothing, 1 toy
  • Jayden: 1 toy, water bottle, a few snacks
  • Myself: Wallet, mirror, cream, sanitizer, lip balm, tissue
  • Cayden’s food bag: (we only bring it out if we know we’ll be out for over 5 hours) 2 bibs, 2 mini towels, 2 fruits, 2 regular solids, 2 spoons

That’s really it. I bring the minimalist things because I don’t enjoy carrying so much stuff and carrying it back home. What’s the point? When kids go out – they explore and look at different things. That’s why they are going out right? I believe if you cater to too much of their needs – they wont get use to it when you stop doing it.

If I go out for less than 4 hours – I only bring a mini bag with 2 diapers and a bag of wipes. Sometimes I don’t even need it. Share with me – what’s in your diaper bag? Comment below!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — DIY 2017 Planner

Here I am sharing my DIY 2017 planner! You may ask – why do I even bother with all the work when I can pay a few bucks for one? The answer to that is – I like things my style & my way. I like the finishing touches to it. I like to have things plan according to my way. I like the colors I use.

I purchased the Quo Vadis planner for a few years back. Love the pink leather cover! Most importantly – I like the small size of it. I like things handy and convenient. I like to carry my planner out either if I’m running errands or grocery shopping. I re-use the pink cover but repurchased the papers inside.

From what I remember – it was $15. Doesn’t make much sense to put paper over a planner right? Well the original calenders/day to day sheets are so boring and not my style. I purchased it – so I can DIY my own.

This is the order I have my life planned. I plan my meals, groceries, weekly to-do’s, outings, school, extra curricular, next week meals, reminders, and blog all in one section! I like to look at everything instead of flipping pages.

I have these DIY sheets done every few months – so I can adjust to my needs. If its summer – I can take out the school section if I want. Or I can add other stuff too. Also – it is color co-ordinated by month.

Is this call a lot of work? I consider not because I enjoy it. I enjoy being organized to the max! Having a planner to me is super duper important. My whole life is in it. Well – sort of! Haha.

What’s my secret for a stress-free life? Be super duper organized and plan ahead! Always think a few steps ahead! Sometimes I plan meals 2 weeks in advance too! How do you organize your life? Comment below to share!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — 8 Month Postpartum • #MomLife & Side Tracked

Finally getting back on track with my blogging. I’m glad life is back to normal.

It’s already my 8 month postpartum! I haven’t done anything regarding my weight yet. Not quite sure about my weight but I did start eating healthy for breakfast and sometime lunches. In order to build good habits – I got to do it in a slow process. Eating healthy one meal at a time is what I am doing now. I cannot cut carbohydrates yet because I am still breast feeding. Overall – everything in slow process. Will be adding in work out soon.

My mood last month was all over the place. I don’t want to explain too much here. Basically my time was disturbed. My schedule and routine was off. When I don’t do things in a structure routine – I feel like my whole self is messed up. Does that even make sense? Anyways – I’m never gonna feel sorry for anyone anymore, because its just not worth my time.

My main focus is raising my boys to be respectful, loving, and caring human beings. Providing a normal and happy family for them and my husband is my number one goal.

As for my milk supply – it had decreased quite a bit. I’m not too worried about it because Munchkin#2 has started solids for two months now. His solids substitutes for the milk. He only drinks milk before a naps or before bedtime or early in the morning. Basically 4-5 times a day.

I think I’ve mentioned that I would start pumping. I’m having different thoughts now. Its quite overwhelming with pumping because I need to wash the pump every day. I’m busy enough with feeding solids 4x a day, baths, entertaining munchkin#2, cooking meals, daily chores, Munchkin#1s school stuff + workbook and a whole lot of stuff that I cannot think of right now. Lol so yeah – I cannot sit on my ass all day and do nothing. Things will start piling up.

As for my sleep – it has been quite good ever since sleep training Munchkin#2 last month. Sleeping through the night is amazing but at times I still do wake up in between because Munchkin#2 still sometime cries in the middle of the night. I’ve stopped nursing the mid-night feeds.

The weather has been so cold lately – I’ve been basically home almost every day. If you ask if I can stay home every day 3 to 4 years ago – I would say no. But now – I love being home. I love being in my pajamas all day long with my messy hair. I can always find something to do. But than again – I cannot wait till Spring and Summer where I can bring the kids to parks and different activities.

Its so different having 1 kid verse 2 kids. A lot more to think about and plan. As long as I am organized it cuts out the stress for me. So far my kids are easy to take care of.

I’m grateful to have girlfriends come over to chill 2-3 times a month. Everyone has their busy schedule and I don’t expect to see them as often. But when we do see each other – its like a catch up session. Its awesome!

Last – hair loss has stopped! Finally! I don’t see my hair flying everywhere or on the floor much. But my baby hair is sticking up – which is annoying. Haha. Grow faster!

That’s all for my 8 month postpartum. I am so grateful and blessed for this simple life God has given me! Please keep my 3 boys healthy and happy always!

Have a BLISSFUL day!!!

[Travels] — Gran Bahia Principe Coba • Mexico, Cancun • Day 7

Day seven didn’t start out the way we wanted to. We woke up to a sick child. Munchkin#1 caught a fever! Thank goodness I am always prepare for every trip we go to. I pack all their medicines and thermometer. Gave him his medicine and he puked a few times.

We took a break from the water park and beach – Munchkin#1 was just too tired. From the past few days he was NONSTOP running around and being under the sun.

Hubby and I had cocktails at the bar while both Munchkin rested.

We ordered room service for lunch as well. Not a huge fan of their room service menu because it was very limited but we wanted Munchkin#1 to rest up.

He took a few hour nap and woke up very hungry and energized. Lol our son only needs a few hour to recharge than hes good! His fever was gone and he asked to go to the beach too. We were just shocked how fast he recovers. Of course we didn’t listen to his request. We wanted him to rest more for our flight the next day.

We had dinner at the seafood restaurant and my salmon meal was delicious. There were a lot of seafood appetizers too. It was a delicious meal!

There goes our day 7! Cant believe our trip is coming to an end! Despite having an extra child to care for – it was very manageable still. It all comes down to organization and extra patience! Stay tune for our last day of our trip! Thanks for dropping by!

Have an AWESOME day!!!

[Travels] — Gran Bahia Principe Coba • Mexico, Cancun • Day 6

Excursion day!

We woke up super early on this day because our excursion bus picks us up at 7:40AM. We woke up around 6:30AM to get ready and have breakfast.

Our first stop was of course the famous ChiChen Itza. Before booking this trip – Hubby was like we MUST visit this place. So we had to! This was our first 7th of wonders we visited!

Walking in this famous Pyramid – there were lots of shops to buy souvenirs and gifts. The prices are very reasonable comparing to other shops. I recommend you to buy your souvenirs here instead of anywhere else. You can bargain as well! We didn’t get anything but we got my Father-in-law a handmade ChiChen Itza for $5USD.

It was a very very hot day. Especially being under the sun and carrying a almost 12pound Munchkin. I hope I lost some weight and gain some muscles that day! Lol. We stayed at ChiChen Itza for about 2.5 hours. Learned a bit of history and explore different pyramids.

After exploring ChiChen Itza – we had a buffet lunch at a restaurant.

Where the restaurant was located was also where we were going to explore one of the Cenotes. Very cool. We could of swam in it but we decided not to. Not up for getting wet and than changing after with 2 kids. We just walked down to have a look and took some pictures.

Than we headed to a little village nearby which I forgot the name of it. It had a really nice and big park. We wanted to do some shopping there but couldn’t find anything to get. When I get something – I’m very specific and it has to match my home too. OCD much?

After walking around for half an hour – we headed back to the bus. It took about 1.5 hour to get back to the resort.

I have to say that our kids were AMAZING with minimal fuss! Some people didn’t even notice there was a baby on the bus! Cayden was that good! It was a long day for both my kids & they did awesome. Makes parenthood that much easier when they behave.

We paid $75USD each person for this excursion – both kids were free. I definitely recommend this excursion – ChiChen Itza is definitely a must see!

We got back to the resort around 7:30PM – the first thing we did was hit the buffet! We were all very hungry. After that – we went to the privilege lounge to upload photos.

Than we headed back to our room to bath and we all  slept right away. We were all so exhausted! It was so so so much fun exploring! I didn’t get to take videos but I did capture a lot of photos! Stay tune for our day 7 of our trip! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a LOVELY day!!!

[Travels] — Gran Bahia Principe Coba • Mexico, Cancun • Day 3

The days are going by super fast – seems like our vacation is ending soon too! Nothing really much different than day 2. Our routine was much less than the same except our dinner restaurant.

We reserved our a la carte dinner at 6:30PM at Mikado Japanese restaurant. Since we are privilege membership holders – we could reserve as many a la carte restaurants as we like. We booked these restaurants 3 weeks in advance. There’s a lot of perks of being a privilege member & we love it.

We had some sushi & sashimi appetizers to start off with and the rest was Tappanyaki. As always – the chef put on a show for all of us. These chef has some skills! Munchkin#1 was exhausted that he didn’t eat much of his dinner. While Munchkin#2 fell asleep half way through our dinner. I give it a 7/10 peacefulness for our dinner. I mean – welcome to parenthood! After dinner we headed straight back to our room & passed out. Stay tune for day 4!

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — Our 2016 Christmas Morning

Still catching up with Christmas events! I finally got things settle and am back to my regular schedule! Woohoo! Anyways – this was a very special Christmas for all of us. It was our second son’s first Christmas & It was the first Christmas that we introduce Santa to our first son. He was believing in everything – he even saw a little clip with Santa on a sleigh and reindeer flying in the sky. It was SO magical for him! It was so amazing to watch! I love it! I never got to know or experience Santa’s magical fairytale and I am so glad my boys get to experience it!

Christmas morning is just for our family only – it’s a day where we spent it opening presents in the morning in our matching pajamas. It’ll be one of our traditions that started last year. My heart is so warm and happy watching my boys grow and be happy.

This Munchkins’ 1st Christmas – look at that cheerful boy! We had an eventful morning – Santa brought everyone presents! Munchkin#1 helped with opening baby brothers’ presents too. I don’t need anything else because I have my family – they are my everything! Can’t wait for 2017 Christmas in about 10 months! Are you excited for Christmas in 10 months? Lol – I must be a little crazy!

Have a BLISSFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — Hubby’s 34th Birthday && Christmas Eve

This is how we celebrated Christmas Eve slash Hubby’s 34th Birthday. Our friend Dana and her newly Husband came for a visit during the afternoon. It was so nice catching up with them and seeing how they love their married life.

I had some time to take photos of my 2 boys in Christmas outfit. As you follow my blog long enough – you would know I love taking photos! Hahaha. These photos will be memories for us to look back to. I love it!

Look at my two loves!

We went out to Loblaws to pick up a birthday cake for my husband. Munchkin#1 got to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to his daddy. It’s also Munchkin#2’s first time celebrating his daddy’s birthday. Aren’t they cute or what?

Yes – mommy took a selfie too! Look at those chubby arms? I shall do something about it soon! I love my pink Santa hat!

At night we headed out for dinner at Baton Rouge. The restaurant was packed and good thing I made reservation! Otherwise – it’ll be a super long wait. Had my fave baked potato with steak. Everything was yummy!

Baked some cookies for Santa. Apparently – Munchkin#1 was suppose to help me but he walked off and wasn’t interested. I think he just didn’t want to touch the cookie dough. He’s a little OCD just like his mommy. We put out cookies for Santa and carrots for reindeer. Yes water for Santa too because we ran out of milk!

It was so much fun because it’s Munchkin#1’s first year understanding that Santa and reindeer are coming and dropping us gifts! Love it! It’s so magical!

Here’s our Christmas Eve night time outfit. Our matching outfit which I bought a couple months ago. The outfit where we open Christmas gifts in the morning! There goes our fun and eventful Christmas Eve & Hubby’s 34th birthday. We love spending it as a family and at home. No need to attend to other people or places. Just some peaceful moment for us.

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[Lifestyle] — 6 Month Postpartum Update • Baby Hair Growth

A super super late update with my 6 month postpartum. Haven’t had much time to do much blogging lately but I’ll get back to it now!

One thing that bothered me this month is – remember how my hair was falling off the past 2 month or so? Yes – now the hair is growing back and the baby hair is like sticking up on my head. Which I find it very annoying. It’s at the length that I can’t do nothing about it. I can possibly put hair spray on it every day but washing my hair every day is not something I want to do – it dries out my hair. I guess I’ll have to leave it for awhile till it grows to a length that doesn’t stick up.

Since Munchkin#2 has started solids – my milk supply has die down a little bit. He’s not as demanding as before. I breast feed him during night time, morning, and before nap time. So I would say 5 times a day instead of 8-9. I’m still thinking about pumping my milk out – but that does give me a little more work to do and time as well. Work as in washing bottles and the pump.

As for weight – I’ve been consuming so much naughty food – I’m quite scared to get on the weight. I’ll talk about it when I’m more comfortable.

Ever since having a second child – I’ve been wearing a lot less makeup. I probably put on makeup 1 day out of the week. Well the other thing is – I like staying home. Staying home keeps me busy enough. Taking care of a baby, household chores, daily meals, a 4 year old, DIY projects and etc.. I enjoy staying home and having my peaceful moment. Sometimes I’m even comfortable not wearing makeup out.

Anyways – I think that’s all the updates from last month! Stay tune for more daily updates soon! I’ll be getting back into daily blogging!

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!
