[Summer Fun] — Barrie Hill Farm & Wasaga Beach

What a wonderful time at Barrie Hill Farm with our friends! It was our first time picking blueberries and strawberries. At first – hubby wasn’t too thrilled about the idea but he ended up enjoying it.

Munchkin#1 did not pick anything because he is OCD and didn’t want to touch anything. His job was to hold the bucket while his parents collected the goods. He had a lot of fun with his friend running around the farm.

After around 3 hours being at the farm – we headed for lunch at our friends Japanese restaurant. We had such an amazing meal – all of us were stuffed!

We stopped by Wasaga for about 2 hours after lunch. The water was quite cold but the kids still loved it.
What an amazing fun day out with our friends and we got to meet some new friends too.

Have a LOVELY day!!!

[Haul] — Pink Kitchen Accessories

Sharing a home accessories haul with you all. I’ve been looking for pink containers ever since I moved into my new place. I had no luck. I wasn’t about to give up because I like things in my home a certain way.

I was so thrilled to find these pink microwavable containers at One’s Better Living. The larger containers were at $6.99 for 3 and the smaller ones are at $6.99 for 6. This is an amazing deal! I’ll be picking up more soon. Now I can throw out the old containers!

Also I picked up a new can opener and a few pairs of chopsticks at T&T Supermarket. I’m easily satisfied when I see things matching! Am I weird or what?

Have a HAPPY day!!!

[DIY] — Planner Sheets of June 2017 to December 2017

Finally finished off with designing the rest of my planner of 2017. If you follow my blog long enough – you would know why I customize my own planner. I just like things my way. I’ve added a few new sections for the rest of 2017.  hydration (tracking down the amount of liquid I drink, workout (track my workout), and youtube. I have been doing videos again and uploading it privately for a month now. I just want to have snippet of our lives captured for memories. That’s really it for the edit version. It’s getting a lot busier – so keeping organize will keep the stress away.

Have a GRATEFUL day!!!

[LifeStyle] — What’s In My Diaper Bag?

What’s in my diaper bag? Just to let you know – I’ve never had a diaper bag. What I use is my Louis Vuitton Neverfull as my diaper bag. I love this bag! It can carry everything! I bring this with me on every vacation too! I’m surprise it’s holding up quite good because I put pounds of stuff in this bag when I go grocery shopping – this bag has been with me for over 7-8 years now.

I ordered this red compartment online to match with the interior of the bag and this compartment fits perfectly! Without this compartment – everything will be in a mess! I love how I can see everything without digging through the mess!

I don’t go out with too much stuff really:

  • Cayden: 2 diapers, diaper mat, wipes, extra change of clothing, 1 toy
  • Jayden: 1 toy, water bottle, a few snacks
  • Myself: Wallet, mirror, cream, sanitizer, lip balm, tissue
  • Cayden’s food bag: (we only bring it out if we know we’ll be out for over 5 hours) 2 bibs, 2 mini towels, 2 fruits, 2 regular solids, 2 spoons

That’s really it. I bring the minimalist things because I don’t enjoy carrying so much stuff and carrying it back home. What’s the point? When kids go out – they explore and look at different things. That’s why they are going out right? I believe if you cater to too much of their needs – they wont get use to it when you stop doing it.

If I go out for less than 4 hours – I only bring a mini bag with 2 diapers and a bag of wipes. Sometimes I don’t even need it. Share with me – what’s in your diaper bag? Comment below!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Celebration] — Jayden’s 5th Birthday With Us

Look at how happy this Munchkin is! We gave him his birthday present a day early – so he could enjoy it while we were busy the next day with his birthday festivities. Since he’s been watching a lot of kids doctor videos – we decided to get him his own set of doctor set. He was so excited and fell in love with it!

On his actual birthday – we took him to his favorite place – which is Chuck E Cheese. We have been here the third time for his previous birthdays. He loves this place! We try to bring him here only on special occasions – so it’s more special. Us parents got to play too.

After that – we headed next door to Boston Pizza. We basically repeated everything we did the year before. It was just convenient to dine here since it’s so close and spacious. The food was yummy and Munchkin loved it! Munchkin#2 gave me time to eat 3/4 of my dinner before he started being fussy. I was grateful already because he could of started his fussiness in the beginning of my dinner.

As always – can’t forget the birthday cake and lots of family photos to end off the night! My 5 year old has grown up to be a loving, caring, sweet, and grateful kid. Please stay healthy and happy as always! We love you!

Have a BLISSFUL day!!!

[Lifestyle] — 25 Christmas Books • Starting December 1st

I was so thrilled to find 25 Christmas books at such affordable prices! The most expensive one was $3.50 and these are amazing quality books! Hard covers too! I’ve wrapped up all 25 books and starting from December 1st – my older son will be unwrapping one book a day until Christmas. I want this to be a tradition in our household. I’ll probably use these books for a few years – I don’t think he’ll remember it after a whole year right? I’ll be replacing a few books here and there but overall – it’ll mostly be the same ones.

Just for a little self reminder – I took pictures of the 25 books – so in case I shop for a few new ones – I won’t get duplicated. I can’t wait to do elf on the shelf next year as well. What are your family Christmas traditions? Comment below to share with us! Stay tune for more daily adventures & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time. Thanks for dropping by!

[LifeStyle] — Operation Christmas ShoeBoxes 2016 • DIY Projects

Christmas is around the corner and the first time I think about is these shoeboxes for the kids in 3rd world country. We live a pretty privilege life with clean water to drink, a roof over our heads, and food on the table every day. The kids in third word countries might not even have 1/3 of what we have! I did this project with a girlfriend, her kids, and my son last year – you can check out the post here. We had so much fun wrapping up the shoe boxes, shopping for toys, and putting it together. The most important thing is the meaning behind it – teaching our kids to give back. This year I’ll be doing this project with my 2 son’s and husband – a family thing.

g0123 g0124

I wrapped these shoeboxes early October and did the shopping later on. The date to donate these shoeboxes is the third week of November this year. I wanted to wrap them early and put them together early is because when November hits – it’s like crazy busy for us! It’s always nice to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary stress right? I always say this but its so true! It’s such a busy season – I want to relax and enjoy the moment! I wrapped up 10 shoeboxes this year – for each shoeboxes – we need to donate $7.00CAD on top for shipping and handling. If your interested – check this website out for more information.

I had a bag of 100 balls laying around and I didn’t want to open it for my son to play with. So I had this idea of wrapping up these balls as part of the gifts for the shoebox project. It was so much fun wrapping and they look so cute too. Don’t they look like candies?

g0179 g0180

g0210 g0211

These are a few of the stuff I included in the shoe boxes – mostly toys and some are sanitation products. We could not include any liquid items or toothpaste – so I had to be thoughtful to what to get.

It’s a family affair and I love getting my kids involved. Well for this year – one kid involved. We try to explain to him why we do this and how some kids don’t have toys or anything to play with in other countries. I don’t think he quite understood that but we’ll try again next year.

Our little helper that helped put everything inside each box – he listened to instruction quite well. Except when he saw cars… He wanted to be playing with it instead of helping. Haha. But he did do a great job this year! Last year he did help a little bit but I did most the packing.

Here’s a shoebox for a girl. Which includes some toys, jewelries, crayons, coloring book, tissue, and band-aid. Have you given back this year? If not – start searching on how you can give back! It’s the season in giving back – although I believe giving back can be any season! Stay tune for more daily reviews & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! [Lifestyle] — 4 Month Postpartum • Hair Loss

Beautiful weather in November!

It’s my fourth month postpartum update! I think I’ll be stopping my postpartum update after 6 month. There will be not much to update with postpartum after 6 months except my weight issues.

First off – hair loss. My hair is falling off like there’s no tomorrow! It’s everywhere and very annoying. It wasn’t as bad the first time but this time I notice it a lot more. Hope it stops soon!

Second off – my period came and it’s been 2-3 weeks now. It’s not heavy at all. Not sure if I mentioned it last month but my period never came last time till I stopped breastfeeding completely. So it’s different this time. My girlfriend told me if my period comes early – it means that I can shed off weight fast. Haven’t hop on the scale for awhile – so I’m not sure if it is or not.

As for breastfeeding – I’m still breastfeeding exclusively. Sometimes my milk supply is up and sometimes down. Not something I can control at all. It all depends what I consume I guess. I’ve been caffeine free for a month now and it does help. Once in awhile I’ll sneak in a cup of milk tea. I do notice the difference. I drink the Mom Tea once in awhile too. Plus I drink lots of water and papaya soup daily. My plan is to breastfeed for another 6 month and we’ll see what happens after that.

g0185 g0186

I’m getting a little more tired these days. Maybe I’m doing a lot more than before. Well it’s November and the busy season is coming! I’m just planning everything ahead to avoid any unnecessary stress. I avoid taking naps either – I don’t want to have problems sleeping at night. Which works out perfectly – I’m dead asleep around 10PM-11PM.

Vacation is within a week. It’s a much needed break for hubby & me. No chores, no cooking, no cleaning, no errands, no school, and no waking up early for a week! We cannot wait for this. It’ll be different because we are bringing an extra member on this trip. I’m sure Munchkin#2 will enjoy it as much as his big brother. We have his floaty and swimwear ready already!

Got my pretty nails & pedi done for this vacation too! I’m debating if I should get my hair braided again when I’m there. We’ll see!

That’s all the updates for my four month postpartum! Hope you enjoy reading my journals – do you keep a journal yourself? Stay tune for more daily adventures & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Home][Organization] — Developing & Organizing Photos & Photo Albums

g0159 g0160

Here’s another project I worked on when I took a month and a half break from my blog. I looked over thousands of photos and developed thousands of photos. I love keeping a hard copy of my photos. Who knows if Facebook will be gone one day right? I store all my photos on Facebook. I had to go back to looking at photos from 2009 to this year – bring back so many memories. Took me hours looking through photos, choosing what to develop, and putting it all together. But it’s ALL worth it because I love looking back at all the amazing memories created.

g0161 g0162

These are the photo albums categorize by year – from year 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and many empty ones waiting to be filled.

These albums are from our wedding (7 from the left) and the rest is for my kids. Believe it or not – but most of these albums are all filled up. I still need to get 8 more to fill up the rest of my shelf on the right. Are you as crazy as me? When I’m old and wrinkly – these are the photos I’ll be looking back at. It’s crazy to think that I developed over thousands of photos. That’s a lot of money well spent there. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time. [Organization][Home] — Kitchen Cabinets Organization • IKEA 365+ Containers

Before Picture

Since my first born started school – I have a little more time to do things in peace as in I can get things done in one go instead of stopping 20x in between to do one thing. I’ve been wanting to organize ALL my kitchen cabinets for awhile. I couldn’t organize them when we first moved in because I was having severe morning sickness than life got busy. So here it is – I’m only showing two cabinets because I totally forgot to take ‘before’ photos of the others.

After Picture

I had my entire kitchen redone before moving in and I love how the inside of the cabinets can be adjusted very easily. Before shopping for new containers – I had everything measured out. Containers jars can be so expensive – I found these containers at IKEA and it’s the 365+ series. I love the look of it but wished it can be a little wider.

Left Cabinet: Top) All pastas – I fitted about 6 large containers. Middle) All my soup ingredients. Bottom) Where I store all my different size bowls.

Right Cabinet: All my baking ingredients. They look so much neater when it’s all in one cabinet instead in 2-3 different areas.

Organizing makes me so happy for some reason – it’s so therapeutic and fun! Spent quite a bit on the containers but I know I’ll be using it for a long long time unless I accidently drop them and they crack. Which is not gonna happen! I love how they are clear – no need to label them. Do you enjoy organizing too? What is your organizing tips? Comment below to share.  Stay tune for more hauls and reviews – this blog is updated regularly! Thanks for dropping by!

Have an AMAZING day!!!

[Lifestyle] — What Have I been Up To Lately? • October 2016

What has been up with me lately? I did take a month off from blogging which I am super behind. But that’s okay I needed my break from my blog anyways. Even though I took a month off from updating my blog – I still kept myself busy with different projects around the house (I’ll update the different projects I worked on in different blog posts).

Since it’s almost the end of October already – I’ve been thinking about what to stock up for the winter season: meat, canned goods, pastas, and etc… I heard it’s going to be a very very very cold winter and I don’t want to drag two kids out for grocery runs every week. Especially carrying the heavy stuff too. That’s what I’ve been doing – buying the things we can buy now for the winter to avoid lots of trips out.

As always – I did Christmas shopping early this year and is 80% done. I’m not a fan of crowded malls and long line ups! Totally not my thing. If I could shop it now – why not right? Plus I don’t want to come home after my vacation to deal with Christmas shopping and wrapping. I just want to get it over with and done with before November hits.

These two months we’ve been doing some home improvement – as in – upgrading some of our furniture. I’ll do another separate post on it. We’ve wanted to upgrade some of our furniture for awhile now – it all comes down to the kids. Some we could upgrade and some we couldn’t do it till the kids are older – so they won’t ruin it.

I did take some ‘Me Time’ away from the kids for a refreshment. Even one hour a day is amazing and we all need it. I love my kids to death but sometimes I just need to be away from them to refresh myself and get myself back together. Fell off the band wagon of my diet after a week. In a week I did lose about 6 pounds – which is not too bad right? I have to get back into this wagon to lose the rest of the weight – 24 pounds to go!

We’ll be going to our winter vacation mid-November. A much needed vacation for hubby and I. We need to see palm trees, sunshine, beach, sand, and paradise – now that’s a vacation! I can’t wait to lounge on beach chairs and watch our kids play in water. Munchkin#2 will be over 4.5 months and we had the okay from his doctor to go. There’s gonna be quite a lot to pack but we can’t wait to experience it with both our boys.

I haven’t talked much about my stepmoms ALS journey. I guess I’ve came to accept it and not talk about it. It’s a very very sad disease without a cure and I pray that there will be a cure very soon to help everyone with this disease. Her situation looks stable right now but she is paralyzed. What can a paralyze person do? Why couldn’t she be stabilize when she could still walk and move her hands? Anyways – I help them buy groceries every week or two weeks. I try my best to visit once a week or if my schedule don’t work – every other week. I don’t know what else to update about her situation – my heart is numb about it. So that’s it.

As for my in-laws – our relationship has gotten better and hope it stays that way. I’m not hard to get along with – I just don’t like being annoyed. We see them about once a week if time permits.

I realize that I don’t socialize with a lot of people these days – the only people I socialize is mommies with kids. I know right – my priorities are so different than 5 years ago. But I do like it this way. When time is so limited – I can’t deal with everyone. My priorities has shifted and my priorities is my kids and husband.

As for blogging goes – I miss blogging. I won’t force myself into blogging if I don’t want to. Its all about if I feel like it or not. I love documenting my life and have a journal to read back. Especially for my kids. My family is my everything!

That’s it for this Life Update – life will only get busier from here when November hits. As long as I’m organize with my time – I won’t be stressing out. Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly. Thanks for dropping by & see you soon!

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[Pregnancy Journal] — Day Before Delivery

bottles & breast-pump all washed

After reading why I had to deliver my 2nd bundle of joy early. You probably wonder what a crazy day I had the day before organizing, preparing, and cleaning everything. In a way – I feel like C-Sections are perfect for people like me. Why? Because I can plan and organize in advance before delivery.

wrapped Munchkin#1s presents from baby brother

The day before delivery – I seriously didn’t have much time. I had to be in the hospital and my Obgyn office from 10 in the morning till almost 2pm. The rest of the time I stayed home and made sure:

1) beddings all washed

2) laundry all washed

3) laundry all folded

4) vacuuming

5) everything in place

6) kitchen sparkly cleaned

7) bottles and breast pumps all washed

8) everything packed

I didn’t waste any time when I had time the day before delivery. I knew if I don’t have these things done – it’ll constantly bother me by thinking about it. I’m just that OCD crazy! There were mani and pedi that I wanted but I just couldn’t fit it in – ended up cutting my own gel nails instead and that’ll do till my next mani appointment.

my very first non-stress test

I ended my day having my favorite food – Jap food! It’s always very satisfying to me! I know I won’t be able to have it after my delivery.

The night before delivery was hard to sleep! It’s either the excitement or the anxiousness in me! This is like my FIRST major surgery! Even getting a needle poke into me scares me – imagining knives opening me up? That’s a totally different level of scariness! I’ll leave my C-section experience on my next post! Because it’ll be a longgg one!

The night before I ended up having two hours of sleep. Which is not bad knowing I had to get up at 2:30AM for a bubble bath, face mask, and eye mask. These things relaxes me.

had my fave dinner that night

We left our home around 3:30AM and dropped our son off at my in-laws at almost 4AM. Checked in at the hospital at 4:30AM. the rest will be on my next blog post! Stay tune for my experience and what I went through! Thanks for dropping by! Hope you enjoy reading my experience in this journey of life! Did you have a similar experience as I did? [Collection] — My Wallets Collection

Decided to do a collection post since I have all my wallets lying around. I have this fetish with wallets where I like to change them once in awhile. I really need to stop purchasing wallets because I have way too many – I did sell a few already.

Do you have a “buying wallets” problem like I do? Stay tune for more reviews and hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for hopping by!

[DIY] — July to December 2016 DIY Planner

It’s that time of the year to work on my other half of the planner. If you follow my blog long enough – I customize my own planner. Each planner is divided into half – so 6 months in one planner and the other 6 months in another. No typical reason – I just don’t like my planner that bulky.

You may think – why the hassle in customizing my own when planners are so cheap these days? Well – because I am OCD and I like to plan according to my liking and rule. Haha.

Usually I design and print these planner sheets by half a tear – so at the end of half a year – I can see what I want to add in or take out in my next planner.

For example: my first born is starting school in September – I’ll need to add in a section where I can write down his Monday to Friday lunches. Or his school activities. Things like that I like it organize and on my planner.

Might seem and sound like a lot of work to design, cut, and paste but as a superbly OCD person – I enjoy putting my planner together. Makes me feel extremely organized as a person. What about you? Which planners do you use? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more daily updates & reviews – this blog is updated regular at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a FABULOUS day!!!

[Cayden] — Preparation For Arrival

I’ve been preparing since April. How crazy can that be right? Let me list the things I’m preparing for in order.

(1) Cleaning up the nursery, having it set up and decorated. Yes that’s the first thing I did and loved doing.

(2) Buying diapers, automatic breast pumps, co-sleeper bassinette, baby bottles, and etc. Just shopping for things I need this pregnancy.

e407 e408

(3) Organizing every corner of my home. Closets x3, vanity table, and everything that needed organization. I need everything SUPER organize because I won’t have time for that when the baby is here. I’ll focus 100% of my time on my two boys.

(4) Freezer meals. Yes – I’ve been working on doubling or tripling some of my recipes when I cook. So I have enough to freeze in my freezer. I’m looking to freeze about 20 meals before I deliver. In case I can’t cook after my pregnancy – these freezer meals will be really handy for my family instead of buying take out all the time. Just planning ahead.

(5) Preparation with my son entering kindergarten. Just buying things he needs this September. Researching lunch ideas in advance. Looking to buy everything he needs before I pop.

(6) Blogging. Yes blogging. I’ve been doing a lot of scheduled posts to keep up the days I cannot blog. I love planning ahead and blogging is one of them!

(7) Calender. Just planning things in advance to keep my son busy. Another thing to keep organize for our lives. When I give birth to baby#2 – I don’t want to put anything on hold either. Hes still going to have swimming lessons and soccer. Maybe summer camp as well. I want him to still enjoy his childhood even with a younger brother coming along.

Did I miss anything? I don’t think so. I’ve started preparation since April and I think some people might think I’m crazy but I’m an organize freak – I got to have things organize to function my life. Am I crazy or what? How do you all prepare? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more daily life updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for stopping by!
