Been wanting to try Yokohoma Japanese Restaurant for a long time and I finally got a chance to when the girlfriend invited me to go celebrate her birthday with her and a couple of her friends. The quality and presentation of food is absolutely superior! I’ll let the pictures do the talking for me.
We ordered food on an Ipad and it was a bit confusing at first. They didn’t state the pieces of rolls that it comes with – so that was the confusion. Other than that – food was perfection. They served crab leg and scallop sashimi on weekends! I loved the scallop sashimi! Everything was so fresh and I even got to eat a lot of their unique rolls! It’s very interesting and delicious.
I can’t wait to be back the second time with my husband – he loves crab legs. One down side about this restaurant was its quite noisy but there’s nothing that can be done unless we come on a weekday where it’s less busy. Service was quite on the slow side too – hope they work on that! Overall – I highly recommend this place! Stay tune for more restaurant adventures and reviews!!
The first thing we did when we got back to Toronto was to have our favorite food. Yellowtail was on the way from going home – so we dined there. I’ve been there once and my husband never been.
The food quality was on the alright side and can I say OH MY GOD to the spicy salmon maki? It was the spiciest spicy salmon maki I ever had in my life. After eating one piece of that – I lost my taste bud for everything else I had that night. Like seriously? Did the sushi chef even try the taste of that spicy sauce he made? Anyways other than that – really nothing spectacular about this restaurant. Nothing stands out to me but the crazy price. This restaurant is on the pricier side than other Japanese restaurant in town with okay-quality food. I don’t think I will return at all. When though their service was good but really not worth going back to. They need to work on their pricing for sure. With two adults and a 2 year old – our dinner nearly cost $70.00CAD on a weekday! My two year old barely ate too and was charged $4.00+tax.
Anyways that’s my opinion and thoughts on this restaurant – what’s yours. Care to share. Leave a comment below! Stay tune for more life stories, travel experiences, shopping hauls, party planning events, restaurant adventures & reviews, and daily vlogs!!
Have a YUMMILICIOUS day!
A little gift for the girlfriend for her 24th birthday!
This is actually my first time stepping foot into a Pandora store – except I did not purchase this gift at the actual store. The associate from Pandora relocated me to L’oro Jewelry because they didn’t have the charm I wanted at the actual Pandora location. Weird to me but it wasn’t such an hassle – since it was only a minute away.
Personally – I’m not a fan of these little charm things. I love the packaging much more than the actual product – so I don’t plan on owning one of their bracelets but as for gifting – as long as it has a meaning – I’m down for it! Stay tune for my second Pandora haul – another birthday gift but this time – for a one year old baby girl!

Having my favorite cuisine again! Japanese food is something I can have at anytime and any day. I won’t ever get sick of! We decided to dine at Yamato Japanese Restaurant out of convenience. We ordered from the a la cartè menu and all the lunch bento boxes came with a Miso soup. Everything was yummy and freshly served!
I’ve been here quite a few times with friends and families. The food is good here and I like how they offer the option either a la cartè menu or all you can eat. The service is fast here and price is reasonable.
The first time I dined here with a couple of girlfriends’ – I made reservations ahead of time and good thing I did! It was mad crazy packed! My advice to you is – before you go – call to make a reservation! Stay tune for more restaurant adventures and reviews!
