What a blessed day getting to celebrate his FIRST birthday with families and friends. We had about 50 attendees that day and it was fun catching up with everyone!
Hubby’s friend came with a professional camera and took some decent photos with us. So this post includes both Iphone & professional photos. We are so grateful to have a friend take photos! Photos mean the world to especially me! Thank you so much Kev!
Kids had loads of fun chasing each other around. They all love the wagon!
Munchkin#2 was a bit nervous when we all sang “Happy Birthday” to him. All eyes were staring at him – I would be nervous too.
I am so glad to be hosting this birthday party with adults and kids. But next party – I will only keep it small to the kids. With a party this big – it’s so hard to catch up with everyone. A conversation could only last maximum 10 minutes. Having a small and intimate party is definitely easier but I won’t say I will never host a big party again. Friends and families play a big part of our lives – we wouldn’t be who we are without them! Thank you all for finding the time out of your busy schedule to come out & love these munchkins!
Have a FABULOUS day!!!
Munchkin#1 had an early mini birthday celebration with the relatives on February 20th, 2017. Usually we would have them over after his actual birthday party after the kids’ leave. But since it was also Family Day – we decided why not have a lunch and have our kids bond with their relatives right?
Nothing much – I made a small lunch, catch up, sang Happy Birthday, and played monopoly!
We had so much fun playing monopoly with the relatives. It was actually our first time playing together! We had quite a good laugh and glad everyone enjoyed it! Hubby and I ended up winning the game by luck. This game requires a lot of luck!
After a 2-3 hour game of monopoly – we headed for a very early dinner. It was such a fun day and I think we should have it much more often! Both our boys behaved very well. Munchkin#1 got to spend quality time with Great Grandma when we were busy playing.
Have a BLISSFUL day!!!

Took our Santa photos on December 4th this year. It was Cayden’s first Christmas – so of course Santa photos were a must! He wore the same onesie that Munchkin#1 wore for his first Santa photos too!
I didn’t want to take our photos that late. Well to me it’s late because it took about over an hour wait. Thank goodness there were a lot to see and explore.
I took advantage of the one hour long wait by snapping lots of photos on my Iphone. How can I not with such beautiful decorations? I went a little overboard but there are never enough photos.
Look at my Munchkin#1s face. He’s never serious anymore when I tell him to smile. He purposely does these faces too…
Here’s our Santa photo this year after over an hour wait. To be honest – the packages they have is so overpriced and not worth the money. But it was Munchkin#2s first Christmas – so it was obligated to take it. Now I have both my boys 1st Santa photos. No more buying these expensive package photos! Have you taken yours yet? Not everything is perfect but to me – this is my kind of perfect. They are perfect in my eyes and I love them very much. Happy 8th year dating anniversary Hubby! Who knew 8 years later we’d end up with 2 adorable human beings that’s ours! We get to keep them forever and ever!
Look at my loves – we celebrated our 8th year dating anniversary on October,17th 2016 at Baton Rouge. It was a really quiet day at the restaurant and that’s just what we needed. Being a mother for over 4 and a half year – I’m not into crowds and noise anymore. I even stay away from the mall during Christmas season. It’s a different kind of life when you have kids. Does this make sense? If it doesn’t – oh well. I’m typing this post with my 4.5 year old asking me tons of questions.
It was a somewhat enjoyable dinner – yes somewhat. When you have kids – you really don’t enjoy your dinner much because they can be a handful. Not siting still, crying babies, and the list goes on. I do enjoy my take out dinner more these days – it’s much more relaxing being at home when they can do whatever they want and you don’t need to be over their heads. You know what I mean? #PARENTHOOD. We had a nice 3 course dinner – our favorites – steak & lobster. The entree itself filled me up already.
Can’t believe its been 8 years of love. Not everything was smooth and dandy but we worked together to work through it. All relationships or marriages will always be a work in progress. As the saying goes ‘if you don’t put fuel in your car, it doesn’t go’ – it applies for relationships too. Oh man – that’s 8 years already – how much did I really aged? After having 2 kids.. Cheers to many more years to go Hubby! Love you lots!
Have a GORGEOUS day!!!

Celebrated our son’s 100 day on October 8th 2016 – exactly 100 day old at King Dragon Cuisine with relatives. It was a small little celebration dinner for him. It’ll be his last celebration till his 1st birthday. Over the past 100 day was just amazing – I love being a mother – even though it can be frustrating at times but I wouldn’t have it any other way – I love my boys to the moon and back! There’s nothing as rewarding as being a mother. #MOTHERHOOD. I feel so blessed to have this family! It’s my forever blessing.
Of course I captured a lot of photos for this special occasion. Glad relatives did some catching up and enjoy their dinner that night. It was a nice and delicious dinner.
We had over 14 courses that night – I couldn’t take a picture of every dish but this is as good as it gets. I ordered ‘red eggs’ on the side for this celebration. I think ‘red eggs’ for Chinese means good luck. I’m not 100% sure of the meaning but oh wells. We were all stuffed to the max after 6-7 courses and had to pack 1/4 of the food home. They sure did serve huge portions here! Overall a relaxing dinner with not much planning to it. I gave out candles as a party favor or you can call it a Thank You gift for coming. This princess turned 3 on June 30th – we celebrated her birthday on the 26th of June. The kids had a lot of fun running around and capturing memories. While the parents enjoyed munchkin on unlimited food and play cards. It was a nice relaxing day.
These kids grow up so fast and I miss them when they were just a few months old. I’m glad we got to celebrate another milestone this year! All memories captured in photos and that’s what I do best. Wishing this princess a lifetime of happiness and healthy!

Celebrated our 8th Valentine’s day together this year with the love of my life! With an almost four year old and a fetus that’s growing in my belly! What more can I ask for? I don’t give this man enough credit for all he does for our family – I’m so lucky to call him my husband! Cheers to many more years to come Hubby! I love you so much!
As always – cooking dinner on Valentine’s day at home has been a tradition of ours! Since my Hubby loves seafood – seafood dinner it was! I made; Mushroom & scallop cream of mushroom, Cheesy garlic lobsters, Honey garlic onion salmon, with spinach and rice. To top it off – some Valentine’s cupcakes that Munchkin loved.
Look at this handsome boy on Valentine’s day! Please no girlfriend for the next twenty years! Just kidding! Stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated every single day at 12PM Eastern Time! Thanks for dropping by!

Another belated post – just trying to get caught up with all these festivities over the past two to four months! I finally have the energy and motivation to blog again! I miss blogging! Chinese New Year happened on February 8th 2016 this year. Not much to celebrate with except to have dinner with relatives and give out red pockets to kids.
Had to bribe Munchkin to wear his Chinese New Year outfit – isn’t he adorable? I wonder when he’ll let me stop dressing him up. Would next year be too old?
Of course – a family photo is much needed! I was 16 weeks pregnant in this photo – exactly 4 months!
Over the years during Chinese New Year – look how much he has grown? My baby is getting older and older! I miss the newborn of him! Here goes our Chinese New Year – how did you celebrate Chinese New Year this year? Care to share? Comment below! I prepped these Mickey Mouse decorations half a year ago and Thank God I did! Because I wouldn’t and couldn’t do much during these few months with morning sickness! That is why I always think and plan ahead!
Everything turned out perfect! He loved it and enjoyed it with his little friends. This year we opted to just invite the little kids instead of mommy and daddy’s’ friends. It’s just hard to accompany so many people. We just want to focus on the little kids.
Note to self: Way too much food this time! For sure next year I’ll do better.
I had a little arts and crafts project that some kids enjoy. It’s to decorate Mickey Mouse head bands with stickers. Mostly the girls loved it while most of the boys don’t care for it. Hahaha.
Another fun party! Next year Munchkin will be picking his own themes because he’ll have an opinion about it. I’ll start planning it during the summer before the baby arrives. I’m not sure how busy I’ll get when the baby is here. Always great to plan in advance right? I LOVE theme parties! It’s so much fun! If you’re wondering – I DIY mostly everything myself. Except for the table cloth and Mickey mouse plates. A lot of time spent but it’s what I love to do!

My baby is finally four! Yes – as I say in all my updates – how time flies. I remember carrying him in my belly in 2011 and he was only a peanut! Its 2016 and he’s 4! What the heck right?
I haven’t done much updates on this Munchkin. Let me do some updates before I forget. He is fully potty trained! Yes finally – right before turning four! He talks a lot more now too. He knows the ages of his parents and himself. He was so excited about his birthday party! It’s actually the very first year he’s excited about it! The past three birthdays – he didn’t understand. He’s learning to wear his socks. He’s quite helpful when we want him to get us something or turn off/on lights. In late May – he’ll start soccer every Saturday. It’ll be fun for him! Okay – I think that is all!
We brought him to Chucke E Cheese to celebrate on his actual birthday. He had a blast and loved it! Despite a snow storm happening that day – we still managed to head out for his special day. I was having a mini headache but nothing will stop me from celebrating in this day with him!
After an hour of fun – we headed next door to have dinner at Boston Pizza. He had his faves – pizza, fries, apple juice, and cakes!
Happy birthday Munchkin! It’s a big year for you! He’ll be a big brother and will be going to school full time in September! May you stay healthy & happy as always! Thanks for dropping by – stay tuned for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!

I’m the crazy mother that plans her son’s 4th birthday event almost 7 months early. If you follow my blog – I plan everything early! Its only August and August is the most free-est month of the year. I try to squeeze most projects and to-dos in during this month. I like to spread my yearly to do out so I never get stress out.
My son’s birthday is in March but being early in the year that we are moving and settling in our new place – planning makes it impossible. Since I have time now – why not prep it now right? I’m just planning early to avoid the stress.
His fourth birthday and I can’t even believe it! He’s turning 4? What? Yes! I got to accept the fact he isn’t no baby or toddler anymore! This will probably be my last year picking out a theme. He gets all the rights to decide on his themes for all his birthdays onwards and all I got to do is design, cut, and plan it out.
Event planning is just oh-so-therapeutic to me. It’s fun and enjoyable and I love every bit of it. This year is supposed to be Mickey Mouse but since he was so in love with Thomas and Friends – I switched it out last minute. Mickey Mouse will be next year.

Recently attended a wedding here in May 30th 2015. This is actually my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time I had dim sum here with my stepfamily & god family. Click HERE for my yum cha experience.
I love love love the chandlers here! The server we had that night was phenomenal and was very attentive to our needs. Especially we had a little 3 year old with us – we needed to get this and that.
Food was fresh and delicious! No complaints there. It was overall a super fun night. Love the hospitality and service this restaurant provided! Definitely worth dining here! What a relaxing Canada day! I didn’t even bother taking photos or perhaps I forgot about it lol. Had a couple of friends over and we just chilled. Catch up, movies, and pizza. I opted for fireworks this year – we didn’t want to take Munchkin out too late. Overall – one word “relaxing”. How did you spend your Canada day this year?! Comment below to share!
Have a GREAT day!!!

Celebrated Father’s day a day early on June 20th 2015. Reason for being early is just because I’m not interested in crowds and slow services. Hence this is why I always plan special days in advance and celebrate in advance.
As a parent – our sons’ happiness is our happiness. Ever since parenthood – our life is all about him. If he’s happy – we are happy. We visited Milliken Park for some park fun during the afternoon. Our Munchkin lives playing with water!
We dined at The Keg Steakhouse that night. It was an yummilious dinner. I love how they have kid’s meal! Overall a very relaxing and fun day for all of us. Family time is never enough! I love my family and would want to spend every second with them. Here goes my husbands’ 4th Father’s day! Cheers too many more Fathers’ day to him. Thanks for dropping by! I’m like two and a half months late from this event! Yes – horrible blogger! But thank goodness – I saved these pictures in my draft folder on this blog – otherwise I probably wouldn’t know that I haven’t blogged about Munchkins’ 3rd birthday on March 1st 2015. We held his birthday party on February 22nd 2015 – you can read the blog post here. I usually like to host his birthday party a week or two early – so I can enjoy his actual birthday with him. The day I gave birth to this precious boy – those memories will live with me forever and ever!
We had an relaxing afternoon followed by going to Chuck E Cheese with Munchkins’ Godfather and an Auntie. He had quite a lot of fun there spending time with his God father. Love these precious moments. Oh by the way – the first picture on the left was when he was crying in the morning – yes crying on his birthday. I don’t remember why but I did vlog that day – so I must watch it back and see what happened – perhaps he was fake crying? lol.
Had dinner at All Stars Wings & Ribs that night – Munchkin had a complimentary birthday cake and all the waitresses came to sing Happy Birthday to him. The funnest part was blowing out the candle on his own! I cannot believed he turned three – where has the time gone to? I missed holding him when he was a newborn – all he did was eat, sleep, and poop! Okay – to sum it up – being a mother for three years has its ups and downs – I would not trade it for the world to do this all over again. My dream was to be a mother and I’m living that dream! Happy 3rd birthday baby boy – daddy & mommy loves you!
