[Haul] — Sephora & Asian Beauty Skin Care Haul

Been awhile since I blog about beauty! I re-purchased a few makeup products from Sephora when mines ran out. I can’t live without the Kat Von D liquid eyeliner & concealer! It is definitely a must have! I returned the Tarte SPF30 sunscreen – since my girlfriend introduced me to a Japanese one.

Onto my second part of the haul which is the photo on the right. My girlfriend introduced me to all of those skin care & CC Cream. Biore UV sunscreen is a MUST have! I did a first impression review on it already – go back a few pages of my blog to check that one out! Other than that – I had the pleasure to try 3 different products. I feel so blessed to have girlfriends introducing me to new beauty products!

Have a TERRIFIC day!!!

[Haul] — Sephora Beauty Haul

It’s been awhile since I did a Sephora haul. I try to stay away from Sephora because it’s a very dangerous place to be! It’s a money sucking shop. Lol okay – just kidding. I usually step my foot into this shop when I really need something.

I needed to pick up a new Sephora Matte Foundation Powder in another shade. The shade I had before was a bit too dark for me. Which I can save that for the summer times.

This is the fourth or fifth time I picked up a Laura Mercier Hydrating Face Primer. I love this product! A tube of this lasts me about half a year – its around $40.

I also received some samples as well since I purchased these two items online during their VIB sale. I had the pleasure of receiving 15% off. Love their free shipping too!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

[Beauty] — Maybelline Brow Drama Crayon Review

f283

Here’s my very first “First Impression” review. I saw the advertisement on Instagram and I told myself I had to try it out!

My first impression was that I love the formula of it. Loved how smooth and easily it goes on. I didn’t need to go over my brows a few times – one time does the job.

The other thing that I’m not too fond of is the thick size of the pencil – very hard to shape my brows. I did end up using a brow brush. Which isn’t a problem.

Got to say I love it – love how inexpensive it is too. I think it was less than $10? Don’t quite remember but it was affordable. I believe there’s a thinner pencil with the same formula too. I’ll be looking into getting one and seeing what the difference is. Probably easier to draw and shape your eyebrows with. Have you tried this product? What are your opinions and thoughts on it? [Beauty] — Lush Enchanted Eye Cream • Review & Recommended!

f032

IMG: Lush.Com

Have to say I am impressed with this Lush Enchanted eye cream. I wasn’t looking for a specific brand eye cream – just something that will work and take my dryness away from my eyes.

I walked into Lush and asked the sales consultant to recommend me an eye cream for super dry eye lids. I remember paying about $27-$30 for it with tax.

In the beginning of the first few days – my skin flaked like crazy. My first thought was “this is another eye cream that’s not going to work on me.” But I was like – I’ll give it a week or two to see. To my surprise – my skin stops flaking and became very smooth. I’m so glad I never gave up on this cream! It’s been a few months of having smooth skin around my eyes and I am loving it!

Been using this bottle for about four months now. I apply it 2-3 times a day. Usually two times – once in the morning and once at night.

Considering that I paid $27-$30 for it and it lasted for so many months – totally affordable. Not only is that it’s affordable – it’s made from fresh ingredient as well. Totally recommend anyone this eye cream if you have dry eyes like me. I am dry all year round and it looks like I won’t be having dry eyes problem anymore! I’ll be getting another bottle very soon – I think my first bottle will run out soon! Hope you enjoy this review! I love this product! [Beauty] — Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Review • Worth It?

E0014

Been testing this sleeping mask out for a few months now. Can’t say I love it or hate it. Sometimes it dries out my skin and sometimes it does the job by moisturizing my skin. One thing that’s not on my liking list is that its sticky and when you apply it before you sleep – it just doesn’t feel too good. Just my opinion.

E0015E0016

I would say the price is affordable at $30.00 for a 2.7oz tub of mask. But do I think it works for me? Not really – it works at times and it doesn’t work at times. I would recommend you to get a sample to try it first. For me – I just don’t enjoy the sticky feeling of it. Have you tried this product before? What are your thoughts? Comment below to share! [Beauty] — The Face Shop Beauty Mask Deals

e267

Purchased these masks at $1 a piece plus tax. That’s right – I usually wait for the 50% off promotion to stock up for the entire year. This time around – I waited till the last day before heading to The Face Shop – so there were little choices left to pick from. I just picked up whatever is left over. I can’t wait till the next sale – for sure will be picking up 30-40 sheet masks. Are you a sheet mask lover? What are you’re to go brands? Comment below to share! [Beauty] — Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner Review

D24-Eyeliner-Pencil-BLACK-2

IMAGE: GOOGLE.com

I’m in love with this new pencil eyeliner I purchased during my trip to Hong Kong! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the packaging but the packaging was girly and pink.

I remember this eyeliner pencil was around $40HKD which is $7.27CAD – which is super inexpensive. I wish I got a chance to try it out when I was in Hong Kong – because I know if I love something – I’ll get it stocked up! I just love how smooth it goes on my eyes. It seems like its waterproof and smudge proof too.

I’ve heard of Dolly Wink from Youtube gurus before but this is my first time actually owning a product from their brand. Should have got mascara too! There’s always next time. Dolly Wink is a popular Japanese brand if you haven’t heard of it. I can get it at Asian malls here in Toronto but of course with double the price. Have you tried this Dolly Wink brand? What are your thoughts? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more hauls & reviews – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!

[Collection] — Beauty Masks From Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan

e313

Look at this huge stash I brought back from Hong Kong – yes I was a bit overly crazy with beauty mask shopping! Hong Kong is like mask heaven! I just couldn’t help myself with the many different brands they had plus it was super affordable too! I brought home over 300 masks which I didn’t know of till I got home. I gave some away as souvenirs and kept most of them myself. I think I’m good with beauty masks for the next three years. Good thing most of them expires in 2018 & 2019.

e315

After coming back home with over 300 beauty masks – my girlfriend Cheryl spoils me with more Japanese masks. A girl can never get enough of masks right? Haha I feel so spoiled.

Looks like I won’t be purchasing anymore beauty masks till I finish this stash! Are you a beauty mask user? What is your favorite brand? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more hauls & reviews – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!!!

[Travels] — Hong Kong Day 3

[Day 3 of our trip] — Third day in Hong Kong — March 15th 2016

It was a relaxing day for us. My in-laws landed in the morning around 4AM – we met up with them for breakfast since we stayed in the same hotel. By this time – we knew our way around the mall. It was simple and connected to the hotel.

e208

We had breakfast at Café De Coral – simple Hong Kong fast food restaurant. Brings back lots of memories for my husband because when he was a little boy – he had his meals at this restaurant at another location before. I’m talking about almost 29 years ago before he immigrated to Canada! That’s a very long time and he still remembers. Kind of crazy eh!?

After breakfast we walked around the mall. Most stores are not open in the morning. Seems like Hong Kong-ers love to sleep in and sleep late! They don’t open till 11AM-12PM.

e209

Since I discovered Watson from the day before. I had to go back and revisit. The mask selection was amazing and I couldn’t help myself but to buy a few more boxes of masks. The price of masks in Hong Kong is a few dollar cheaper than Toronto. But still worth buying because I use it on a regular basis.

e210

Walked around for a bit than headed to have lunch with the in-laws and hubbys’ second aunt. Decided on this Japanese restaurant which I forgot to take a picture of. It was an experience for Hubby and Munchkin because they never seen convey belt sushi before. It basically is a belt that rotates around and you pick up whatever you like. We ordered ramen/rice on the side as well. I would say it’s an average restaurant.

e211

After a little shopping at Watson & lunch – we headed back to our hotel room for a mini map. We had nothing on our schedule that day except to have dinner with most of the Cheung relatives.

Had dinner at Jade Garden – a very nice restaurant. Its a 5 minute walk to the mall from our hotel. Everywhere is so convenient and attach to this hotel! For sure will be staying here next time when we visit! We had a quick dinner because we were all so tired. Food was great but I didn’t have an appetite to eat much.

There goes our day 3 relaxing day! Stay tune for day 4!

[Travels] — Hong Kong Day 2

[Day 2 of our trip] — Second day in Hong Kong — March 14th 2016

e201

Got to try McDonald pasta for breakfast on our second day and boy did it not taste too good! I ended up ordering a fish-o-filet instead because I just couldn’t stomach it.

e200

Found Snoopy World from walking around the mall. Too bad it was closed!

e202e203

Got my hair washed at the salon for $110HKD – a bit expensive but I enjoyed it! Found Watsons and purchased three items too. I didn’t have enough time to check out the rest of their stuff.

e204e205

Spent the day at Disneyland. It was quite a tiring day because of my jetlag – ended up waking up at 4 in the morning and couldn’t go back to sleep. It was brutal.

e206

Hubbys’ relatives picked us up at 12:30PM. Had lunch at Disneyland and went about our day. Went on a few rides, watched a 3D show, rested in between and then we had Chinese food in a restaurant inside Disneyland. I was exhausted by 7PM! I didn’t know how Id survives for a few more hours but somehow I did and slept in the car going back to hotel. Overall a fun experience – Munchkin loved it and had a blast! It was $500 for adult ticket and not sure about the price for kids. We are so spoiled by Hubbys’ relative that they didn’t let us pay for anything.

e207

I quickly took a shower when I got back from hotel and KO’ed! I was dead asleep before 10PM. Stay tune for our day three of our trip in Hong Kong!

[Beauty Haul] — Trying NEW Kat Von D Concealer

20007

IMG: Google.com

Kat Von D concealer is become one of my fave! I love the coverage it gives me plus its super duper creamy. A little goes a long way!

Usually I don’t like trying new things but since Sephora didn’t carry Cover FX anymore – I was forced to try something new.

I’m very picky with my concealers because I don’t like ANY sticky feelings on my face. I would feel like crap the entire day if my face is either oily or sticky. This concealer was the perfect texture I was looking for.

Since I don’t apply foundation – coverage for my dark circle and freckles is much needed.

So far this line of Kat Von D – I’m very impressed with. The liquid eyeliner is another of my fave! If you are thinking of purchasing or trying this concealer – purchase it at a Sephora store. If you don’t like it – you can always return it. Hope you enjoy this review – stay tune for more daily updates – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!

[Haul] — My Winter Clothings & Misc

Here’s my little haul from last month. Did a little online shopping before the crazy Christmas season. I enjoy online shopping more than going to the mall because of the lineups, crowds, and rush. Plus having a child makes it less enjoyable too.

[Haul] — Sephora Beauty Haul & November Birthday Gift

d153

It’s been awhile that I’ve done a huge haul of makeup products. I usually do a small Sephora and a big Sephora haul a year.

Usually I finish most of my products before I purchase new ones. Once I start using the new – the old will be forgotten. So no makeup products will go to waste if I don’t stock up my items right away.

d154

Repurchased Nars eyeliner, Kat Von D liquid eyeliner, and Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer. The only new thing I’m trying out this time is the Kat Von D concealer since they no longer carry Cover FX – the sales recommended me something close to Cover FX. I’ll do a review when I test it out for a longer period – so far I do like it.

e0060

This years birthday present is from Nars – two lip liners. I remember last year was a Forever mascara. Can’t wait to try these liners!!

I did forget to pick up a bronzer and I have no idea what bronzer I want yet. Need to do some research first – any recommendation? Comment below to share! Stay tune for more reviews & hauls – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!

[Haul] — Shopping Haul • September 2015

Decided to do a monthly shopping haul on my blog instead of dividing it into different blog posts. Therefore – I can look back and remember what I got each month.

c210

c211 c212

Ordered more stickers and pens from Aliexpress – the same buyer I bought it from – from the month before. Love those inky pens and the different color they have.

c213

Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse key covers. I’m deciding to let these go because I want to get the Rilakkuma bear covers instead. These are so cute though!

c214

Stocked up on my Aloe Vera Gel moisturizer when they were on sale at $5.99 at T&T Supermarket. I remember it costing $15.00 last year- that’s a huge price drop! A container can last up to one year.

c215

Emoji stickers! Lol they were just too cute not to buy! The stickers were larger than I thought. But I still love them. There goes my monthly haul! Hope you enjoy it! Stay tune for more hauls & reviews – this blog is updates daily at 12PM Eastern Time!

[Beauty] — Optimera Skin Care • Review & Thoughts

b166 b167

I started using Optimera late May 2015 and it was recommended by my facial lady. I never heard of this brand before or even heard anyone around me using it. I decided to give it a try. Why? I want my freckles to go away! I’m just not a freckle girl.

Here is what this cream is for: The grey bottle is for day and the blue is for night. She told me I don’t need to apply anything else if I apply this cream. Aka: Toner, eye cream and etc. The cost for both bottles was $169CAD with tax. Not too expensive if it lasts for a couple months. I decided to give it a try.

It’s been almost three months of applying this cream and she did tell me to take a picture each day so I can tell the difference. But really – who does take a picture each day? I did for the first few days than I got lazy. How I did notice my freckles being lighter is when I apply my foundation and concealer – I notice I don’t need to apply as much. A small amount gives a good coverage already. It’s definitely working out for me. I will continue to use this and see if it’ll get even lighter. I like my freckles to be completely gone but it may be impossible because I like going to tropical vacations and being in strong sun doesn’t help. Whatever it can help now – it’s good.

If you average $169.00CAD divided by three to four months = about $42.00 to $56.00 a month PLUS you don’t need to purchase any other skin care stuff. I find it not bad – what about you? I’ll do another update on this skin care line 4-5 months later to see if my freckles did get any lighter or not. So far – I love the results.

Have you used or heard of this skin care line? What are your thoughts? Comment below to share your thoughts! Hope you enjoy this review & stay tune for more reviews and life story – this blog is updated regularly at 12PM Eastern Time!
