Mother’s Day is around the corner and tonight we celebrated Mother’s day with the In-Laws. The first dinner out of three. Kind of crazy right? How many Mother’s Day dinner/celebration do you celebrate each year? I decided on Akane Sushi ever since my God’ Sister introduced me to this place. The Sashimi is super fresh and the price of food here is inexpensive.
I was nearly half full having their appetizers – Miso Soup and Salad.
Plus – this time they provided two free House Specials. Salmon Head and I think its called Korean Glass Noodles? Correct me if I’m wrong.
With a boat this big – nearly 100 pieces – it costs $65.99! They have a variety of Sashimi, Sushi, and Rolls. When I say variety of Sashimi – it’s not a joke. They have Scallop, Sea Urchins, salmon, Tuna, Squid, Soba, Mackerel, Sweet Shrimps, and this white fish. This boat is enough for five people.
My husband ordered a side of Shrimp Tempura and a Seafood Udon too.
Not sure what this roll was called but it looked interesting with cooked beef in it.
Ended our meal with some Green Tea Ice Cream goodness. Overall – what a satisfying dinner with our belly full to the max! Another year – another celebration. Of course we ended the night with some awesome family photos that we can look back on.

I highly recommend you making a reservation before arriving. This place is quite small and squishy. Might be quite a wait on food too due to lack of staff – so prepare to order your food right when you get to the restaurant. I would say – check out the menu in advance (menu above). Hope you enjoy.
